The Events of 'Hell Week" Continue

By now you know that the suspects behind the Marathon bombings are two brothers from Chechnya and one is in his mid twenties and the other brother was nineteen.  The older brother was in the dark cap and the younger brother was in the white cap.  There is a confusion whether the brothers were identified at a 7 - 11 or just decided to hold up a 7 - 11.  But then they said that an M I T police officer was killed as he sat in his patrol car.  The two brothers then hijacked an SUV and headed west for about a half hour, and then let the driver go unharmed.  And they informed the driver that they were indeed the suspects the FBI had been looking for.  Then they got in a police chase where they were throwing granade after granade at the pursuing cops- and ten officers were injured in the process.  They came to the town of Waterbury, Mass - - and there the older of the two brothers was killed in another shot-out with police officers.  There are roomers the younger brother was holding hostages in some house in the neighborhood.  But then the police told the media to back off and extended the crime perimeter line.  It is roomered the brother who was killed had an explosive (suicide) device on him.  But now they are hopeful that a negotiated surrender will take place.  They are saying how that they hope to take the remaining suspect alive.  In the case of Chris Dorner here in LA when it was a Black - - they didn't seem to care whether the suspect was killed, in fact almost prefered that outcome.  It seems both brothers are students at the University of Massachetts.  He's a second year medical student.  People who knew the surviving suspect regard him in the fondest of terms, and the cliche holds true that "he is the last guy you would suspect of this".  The father back in Chechnya told the remaining brother to surrender to the authorities.  There is talk that this is part of an Al Qaeda cell- - and they are a little strange in their mystic beliefs even by Al Qaeda standards.  The brothers have been living in Massachusetts for ten years.  We know they are sympathetic to the Chechnyan inpendence cause and has posted as such on social sites.  Just to throw a dissinent clucker into the mix- - Mal Evans has stated that the Federation is on friendly terms with this particular "cell".  I just thought I'd post this now while the news is ongoing.

And now for some other rambling - - - back when we moved to Orange county a lot of the people in our tract had orange grove trees in our yard.  I believe they were Velencia oranges.  Some people had had their trees removed- - but we were informed when we moved in that there had never been a tree in our yard.  Of course the Revies accross the street had an orange tree in their yard.  Dennis was the younger brother- - who had just recently skipped a grade.  He was several months younger than I was and born in April of 1951 - - but I was actually closser to the older brother, Steve, who was bigger and taller than I was, and we often played basketball together on either his driveway or mine.  Of course speaking of Revies- - yesterday, we are informed, was the 75th anniversary of Superman.  And apparently Superman "evolved" some of his muscular build in the comic strips.  Also yesterday George Beverly Shea died at age 104, who was famous for singing "How Great Thow Art" at Billy Graham rallies.  Of course back in April of 1981 Mark Campbell put out that poem song lyric of "How Late Thow Art", which has some rather interesting, downer imigry in it- - and I wish I still had a copy of those lyrics.  Mark Campbell was of course cremated and his ashes scattered at sea, and his funeral was on March 18th. 1986 on a clear and sunny day in the eighties (degrees) - - somewhere in eastern Santa Monica or perhaps over the border into Los Angeles but still on the "Santa Monica road grid allignment."

We have More Information after one.  "Days of our Lives" will not air anywhere in the country, it was announced.  Radio hosts have reminded us that two Islamics were initially fingered by the authorities for this crime- and one of them was a guy who had been wounded by the attack and was in the hospital.  Just to clarify, it was  Mercades Sports Utility Vehicle that was hyjacked and according to another version "the hostage escaped somehow".  But not before the two Brothers and pilfered his debit card and they tried three different times to get eight hundred dollars out of his account, and on the third time they were successful.  Of course the whole Boston area has been in an unprecedented state of lock down where the streets are deserted, like a ghost town.  It would seen that Uncle of the two suspects - - has little love for his brother and father of the boys- and regarded both of the sons as losers who "couldn't settle themselves in America".   I would remind you that the younger brother has been here since he was nine.  Both brothers fled the chaos then reigning in Chechnya in the early part of the two thousands.  One time terrorists occupied a theater - - it was thirty thugs in battle gear and the rest of the people in the theater's lives hung in the balance.  Vladimir Putin ordered a media coverage black-out.  Then he went in and gassed everyone in the entire theater- the innocent and the guilty alike.  I would imagine he used cyanide, the same substance that was in the Kool-Aid the people at Jonestown were forced to drink.  This only made the Chechnyans meaner and more determined.  They held hundreds (?) of students and teachers in a gymnasium, with bombs dangling over their heads just out of reach suspended by wires.  According to Randy Rhodes "That didn't end well either".  At the time this was going on and Chechnya was in the news I remember wondering why the Bush administration didn't get involved on the side of the Chechnyan separatists.

Meanwhile Jay has been spouting his nonsensical math formulas that he claims he's been "perfecting for years", but - - he mixes up everything - - and introduces irrelivent - as well as incompetent and immaterial factors into his arguments.  Janet had two orange juices but Joe and Richard got them.  Later she gave me a choice of guava or papaya juice and I opted for papaya, not being real clear on the difference.  At lunch Jay went on one of his growing in frequency yelling rampages and this time the target was Sarah - - - and I felt bad for Sarah having to endure that.  I got out my camera this morning to take pictures off the TV screen.  I didn't know I hadn't used my camera since January 21st of this year.  I also moved the small green flashlight to a smaller drawer so it wouldn't be so easily misplaced.  Now an interview is going on.
