More Questions Are Raised

After three long months, Randi Rhodes is back on the air waves. Her predecessor, as the song says, "Won't be back till fall", that is, if she comes back at all. One topic that has been up front on the agenda is that or torture, and abuse of governmental power by Donald Rumsfeld and the Bush Administration. It would almost seem that perhaps Dick Chaney and Karl Rove personally witnessed the torture of prisoners, perhaps offering suggestions. I find it a little sickening that the Vice President may have witnessed the tortures as his way of "getting off". They had been planning to release two thousand photographs from Abo-grave. But that was a month ago. Now President Obama has done one of his many whoos-outs and reversed himself on this issue citing the usual right wing talking points. It is just another item in a long list of things that fails to inspire confidence in Obama by his base on the left. Of course they had video tapes from Guantanamo, but these were all destroyed. Many don't like the idea of the release of these photos saying they might somehow be used as a recruiting tool by Al Qaeda. But chances are they have their own photographs circulating already. John Mc Cain has been strangely silent about wanting to see the last administration come clean on all the scandals they were involved in. Now it seems Mc Cain's secrecy extends to his run for President. Apparently he told people he had a secret plan to capture Bin Laden. And all you needed to do to find out what it is was to vote for him and put him in the White House. I don't know if withholding needed information is an actionable offence or not, but it sure isn't very patriotic. I couldn't picture Jack Bower making some deal to become President. But of course there are still questions about 9 - 11 that we don't have answers to. Some radio listener came up with the idea of trying Bin Laden in abstentia. Would there be enough evidence to convict him? Randi Rhodes wants to know why NORAD or whatever that outfit's name is, wasn't in the air defending our country. And why were all the air traffic controler communacations destroyed? What is the government trying to hide by that. There have been countless eye witness reports and things that don't jive at all with the official government explanation as to what exactly destroyed the Twin Towers. Some people die under mysterious circumstances, like one man tortured by the Bush Administration in 2002. If the government will lie about how effective torturing prisoners is, and they have, wouldn't they be inclined to lie about other things, like what hit the pentagon. Some people say that by the physical evidence it could not have been a plane. There is a web site called indict Bush now or something that I haven't visited myself but reccomend it. After I do I'll be back on one of our "Black" blogs to report on it, that is if I haven't been tagged for spam in the mean time.

Foods are coming under so much attack these days. Now they've even taking to "dissing" Cheerios. Of course they want us all upset over one thing or another. If it isn't caffein in the coffee it's "manipulated levels" of nicotine in our cigarettes. Now they are going after Resturants who put too much salt in their food. They had a Simpson's episode a week or so ago where Homer Simpson developed diabetus from too many capachino lattes or whatever. That's something else they want us to worry about. Last Saturday at a family gathering I got a headache from the hoursdeours (?) or whatever. (orderves) The shrinp was awful. It was like eating plastic. Another dip tasted for all the world like it had marijuana in it. I ended up getting a headache and feeling a bit mentally fuzzy. Even though there was an open bar- - I was strong. I didn't have one drop of alcohol. I was inclined to blame the preservatives. But others at a smaller gathering later launched into a tyrade about both coffee and sugar, and the topic of my smoking came up. Only one other brother stood up and defended coffee drinking besides me. I think we all know our bodies, and what substances our bodies like and what substance it doesn't. I have never been a fan of "Diet" anything, myself. I don't like the advent of the Nanny state. And personally I would ease regulations of various prescription drugs, so that doctors can spend their time with people who really have something wrong with them and need treatment.

I would like to at this time have another "Jesus Moment". I'd like to talk about the second of the "Four Jesuses" today. As you know, each person contributed something of Jesus' biography. Personally I would like to get to know the Real Jesus. I bet I'd learn a lot about him I didn't know. If you picked four people to do a biography of me, you'd probably get very different reports because I've had a lot of phases in my life. I've grown and changed. One might think that if Jesus was to be our "example" in life then he likewise would have "grown and changed". It's just a thought. Was Jesus a fan of rubic's cubes? Did he prefer tea with meals, or coffee? Stuff like that. The Jesus we get not only from every Gospell but also from every apocraphal book, even ones about his childhood, are surprisingly one-dimensional. The message can be pretty much summarized as "I am God in the flesh, and if you want to escape Hell when you die you'll get down on your knees and make me Lord of your life. And, oh, by the way I do great meracles, too". That's about it. The thing we get with the 'Yeshua" story is a view we don't get from any Christian gospell. First of all his mother had an affair with a Roman centurian, named Pantera. It just so happens that the gospells are fond of Romans and also Roman centurians. We learn from this Hebrew source that Yeshua had five desciples and none of the names were at all similar to any of the desciples we know about. We know Yeshua was a sorceror. He was charged with the crime of sorcery by the authorities. He was given a period of forty days for someone to come forward in his defence, and nobody did, and after forty days he was taken out and stoned to death. End of story. None of the four Jesuses is connected with John the Baptist. It's not all that inconceivable that many scriptures on the End Times were lifted from John the Baptist's teachings, for we know a central feature of John's message was, "The Messiah is coming".

When it comes to all that Math stuff, it's not that I'm so Smart, it's just that I'm a little less Stupid than the average Joe you see walking down the street. In that vein, I would like to share the following information:
I've been trying to resolve this whole "hyperbolic trig function" thing lately. I've been looking for a modas opperandi - - or reason why the whole thing was invented to begin with. (modas opperandi is the wrong word) In trying to solve one mystery I ended up solving another. I finally Prooved the Pathagarian therum to my satisfaction. I'd never been able to do that mentally before. I was looking under "cartesian equations" for something else- - - and I happened to come accross this equation we all learned in algebra, but that I had forgotten about. x squared + y squared = 4. That graphs out to a circle. So in essence this is almost a founding equation of trigonometry. It proves the pathagarian therum. Picture a door opening and closing. The edge of the door traces out a circular ark, and if the hinges would let it go far enough it would inscribe a full circle. We know from the "quadrents progression" (as I talked about in my last blog) you start from the right and start drawing various right triangles so that the apex hits places on the circle. Look at the two Right Angle lines. These are like the X and Y coordenates of the equation. You add the squares of these together. The only other variable is the swinging door, and doors don't change lengths as they are swung. So if the door is always two feet by two feet, the area is always going to be four. (That diagram they include in the geometry books never did make sense to me) And now we move on to hyperbolic trig: The key equation with hyperbolic functions is x squared - y squared = 1. (One) This equation as it were is what turns trigonometry "inside out", which seems to be necessary at times. Like the other trigonometry- - it's all wrapped up in the ninety degree thing. This equation will give you two hyperbolas on each side of the zery Y plane and each one will be bisected by the x plane. From here it's simple. The sine and cosine of hyperbolic math- - analogus to circle math- - is just the X and Y coordenates of each point on the hyperbola, with the ratio being the derived tangent I was twisting my mind trying to come up with "what is a hyperbolic triangle? The ratio between the straight lines of that will still be a tangent. But the hypotenus won't be a real hypotenus. There are all sorts of equations that use hyperbolic math - - and among these are equations used in "magnetic theory" and I looked that up. They use stuff about Maxwell, king of the ether theory - - and those two guys who ran the experiment of the speed of light testing for "ether wind" that Einstein refuted. One thing threw me. They said that a hyperbolic tangent was the key to additive speed of light measurements. As you may or may not know - - the hyperbolic tangent is another of these figures that approaches ONE but never reaches it. But I ran the numbers and the math didn't add up so I went back and read more carefully. What it said was the FORMULA for additive velocities is the same formula as the one used for adding hyperbolic tangents together. So it's kind of like two things that are Done in a Similar Way but are otherwise not related. Here is the formula in question. ( htan A + htan B ) divided by one plus htan A TIMES htan B. That's the formula munus the volicity of light. Einstein already knew this formula before he got started and just applied it to a new area. I consider it perhaps the most important formula of Special Relativity.

Dick Chaney is at it Again

Who would have guessed Dick Chaney would be so public in saying that water-boarding was a really good idea for prisoners, and waterboarding has saved thousands of lives. You would never have, for instance, seen Spiro Agnew commenting on the Carter Administration would you? Chaney is only a walking billboard reminder of everything the Democrats don't like about the Republicans. When Chaney says that he'd trust Rush Limbaugh over Collin Powell to lead the party it only goes to show where the heart and soul of the Republican party is centered. As to the matter of our Afghanistan policy and "diminished security" the thing is I am not the least bit worried about this as I so boldly indicated in my last blog. Thom Hartman remarked hypothetically, "What if Mexico didn't like the "drug terrorism" of our drug lords and how we have ravaged the country and so flew an unmaned drone plant into Phoenix to get a few drug houses and killed about ten or twenty thousand people? We wouldn't like that very much, would we?

PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT ALL FEAR

We have to learn to trust ourselves. They have run experiments on Apes to prove what we knew all along anyhow - that egalitarianism and equality are good things. The lab people tried to create inequality among the Ape population under their control and reward a few lucky Apes all of the time. Mistrust grew among the rest of the ape society as well as neurotic behavior as well as changes in the central nervous system, and even changes in their brains. Today we learned in class how stress increases cortesol, which in addition to making you gain weight also damages the kidneys and the liver and puts overall stress on the body and ages the body. Societies that preach and practice equality are in the long run, happier societies. One thing we need to do is to learn to trust our government again, as a good thing and not a bad thing. Hopefully, having Obama at the top is leading the way in this goal. People say that Democrats want "socialized medicine" when in reality "single payer insurance" really isn't "Socialism" in the sense of the government paying either the doctors or owning the hospitals. These will still remain in private hands. We just want the government to run the insurance part of it; that's all. The government is the insurance company, because we know insurance companies can't be trusted. Once we get them out of the way, the whole rest of the health care system will run much more equitably.

ROMULAN IDENTITY CRISIS

They say that indeed this is the REAL "StarTrek - Next Generation" movie. It is truely the "Next Generation" of StarTrek movies with a whole new cast and a whole new constituancy, and a whole new set of plot lines, from what I've heard, to set up sequel movies down the line. You saw very little of StarTrek in the "Next Generation" series. You still had Romulans and Klingons and Scottie made an appearence in one episode, and Serek, Spock's father, made an appearence in another. I think the Romulans as I describe them in my writings would really love it is someone went back into the past that would change the future they are having now, like say back a few hundred years. There is still a group of Romulans who when they speak of earth use dates from the Julian Callendar, which is 13 days off. What I learned is that they use semaphore backwards from us, sort of. But they learn it the same way I learned it- - backwards, but Stewart Sutcliffe says that's the way they often use it. Because someone is leading a parade and looking forward and giving flag signals, or else they are riding in tanks, or sometimes if a guy from the rear gives signals, they've viewing them in a mirror and see it backwards. What got strange is that the Sirians- - they do it correctly, like we on earth do. But they said they learned it backwards because they thought that was what would make the Romulans more confortable. When Romulans look at a map they look with east at the bottom and west at the top. And when they do nautical or Radar sweeps they start from the west and sweep around counter clock-wise so that south in 90 and north is 270. Usually when I do Astrological signs myself I start with Aries on the right and work my way around counter-clockwise. That's just the way I think of them. Likewise with triangles in trig function I start to the right with zero and work my way counter clockwise up and then to the left and down and around. To my way of thinking it might confuse students to continually show right triangles aiming to the left and not to the right.

EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE - AND I'LL PROVE IT!

Sketch-up as an interesting illustration of what it is to be "Co-Planer" or the lack of same. Here is the example. There are three dots on the same horisontal level or plane, and a fourth dot not up to the level or "plane" of the other three. It's the odd man out- - right? Not so fast. Back abound 1968 each Beatle, John Paul George and Ringo in turn at times felt as though they were the "odd man out" and without them the other three would get along. Have you heard the addage that three points "define" a plane? In math in a sense, to define something is to Own it. This may be why the Church wants to "define" God, so that they say that they own it and put their "brand" on Him. Well in our example of the four dots, let's suppose that like before three dogs were on the level but the dot in the upper right hand of the picture "looked" lower than the rest- - OK, just as before. But now draw the plane so that it passed through this dot and slants upward till it hits the front two dots. Now who is the odd man out? It's the dot in the upper left that is now above the plane. You can also slant the plane to the left instead of up - OK? That way the two dots on the left are hit as well as the upper right, but not the lower right dot is too high. Or you can go diagonal and draw a line between the upper left dot and the lower right dot. Now- - draw a plane from the upper left dot going upward to this line. Now the dot not connected is the dot in the lower left. There is Einstein's example of the elevator shaft in space for another illustration. Suppose you think you are free-falling through space. You see the lines on the shaft going past and you deduce that you're moving. Now suppose in reality at this time a braking motion begins to occur. A 1 G force is continually applied to your feet - - so that you are slowing down and stopping. Then you see what looks like the end of the elevator shaft and you "stop" just in time and start apparently moving the other way and keep going. I have many times graphed a 1 G continued force like this. It forms the shape of a parabola when a side vector is applied. But suppose that you already "stopped going down" long before you thought you were. In reality the shaft was moving Up at the rate of 2000 miles an hour. (pick a nice round figure. The speed of the shaft is constant. You only Appeared to be reaching the End of the shaft because your acceleration finally matched the speed the shaft was moving at 2000 miles per hour. You had actually reached the "stationary" point way before this. I only cite this personal example einstein himself used- - to illustrate that you have no real idea of what true Motionlessness is. Indeed, there is no way of proving it. I got a calculator when they first came out in 1974 and one of the first things I did was calculate how long it would take to reach the speed of light. It turned out to be just about one year at one G acceleration. I only say this because what if you were at 1 G acceleration for say, two years? Would the world come to an end? This is just something to think about.

HYPERBOLICALLY SPEAKING

The whole realm of "hyperbolic math" seems to be a major branch of mathematics I know very little about. I thought a place to start would be the definition of a hyperbola. The word is Greek for "over-thrown". Oddly the concept comes from space travel when an astroid body passes near another planet but it not captured by it but still has enough energy to overcome the planet's "escape volicity". I was puzzled how the Greeks could know that. You may know that when you slice a vertical cone with a horisontal plane, the resultant image is of a circle. If you tilt the plane (they call it an "eccentric" plane) the resultant image is not of an oval, but an elipse with (they say) the exact properties of a planet with an eliptical orbit. If the plane of the cone slife is allighed to the opposit side of the cone, they call this a parabola. (parenthetically there is another more basic definition of a parabola I won't go into here) And a vertical slice of a cone is a hyperbola. I'll add this: The farther you slice from the center of the cone- - the greater portion of the line is curved. (pause to reflect on this) There is a whole hyperbolic world. They have hyperbolic angles called "unbounded" angles, and I don't know what that means. There are hyperbolic triangles and hyperbolic planes. I don't understand those either. They used to call Base E, (before it was called the "natural" logerithm) they used to call it the hyperbolic logarithm. This may be because Base E is used twice in figuring out hyperbolic trigonometric functions. (This is another of those formulas I re-formulated so I could understand it better). They call them "natural" logarithms because they are easier (they say) to proform various complex equations with rather than base ten. (I don't understand those either)

The World According to Monsanto

First of all I'm glad I wasn't locked out of the blog today. I guess I'm a little paranoid in light of today's topic. Monsanto wants to corner the market on agricultural seed production. First of all I really didn't really understand the full ramifications of the term "genetic engineering" until yesterday. What they do is engineer their seed like computer software, to self destruct when used more than once. They say the seed is only good for one crop and if you try to use the new crop of seeds, dire things will happen to the crops, or any crops you crossbreed with. This monopoly would give Monsanto amazing leverage in the case of a major world famine. Everyone, they hope, would come to them to buy seed. They say that they have seed used for animal feed which produces its own insecticide. Also if you get poisoned by their insecticide, you can be made imune but only by ingesting crops grown with Monsanto seed. It's a major danger to world commerce and I am hoping the Dept. of Agriculture will take needed steps. There was a vote in the Kansas legeslature to keep seed producers from labeling their seed as either safe or unsafe. The governor vetoed this bizzare bill. Also with the hormones they are putting in cow's milk, the incidents of both prostate and breast cancer on the rise, but I don't know if that's a Monsanto product. You may remember Monsanto produced that "World of Matter" Disneyland ride. Now there is a movie you can rent called "The World According to Monsanto" and it can be obtained at the site seedsofdeception.com and I don't know if that will turn into a live link or not.

They say we've rounded the corner as far as the banking crisis is concerned. The banks are out of the woods, it's just the rest of us who are in trouble. They gave some "stress test" to the banks. (Did they run a tred-mill?) They passed the financial stress test but many say the test was too easy and that likely but negetive contingencies wern't tested for. But for the rest of us things don't look so good. I mistakenly told my brother last week I thought stocks had re-traced half of their losses. That isn't even true on a logerithmic scale. We aren't even close to a half way retrenchment. The long term pattern is still down. I say this because in 1982 while we were months away from the bottom, the market turned up decisively, and while we were still weeks away from the bottom, in November of 1982 the markets broke into new, high ground. I say this because some people still want to "get out at the break-even point". Make no mistake about it there will be a lot of "resistence" as stock technicians say, when we even approach the old highs. We have lost another five hundred thousand jobs. This is "less bad" than it has been, so I guess the resultant 8.9% unemployment figure is "less bad" than they expected.

Many people are still waiting for Obama to take the web site's advice and "Go Left". Nancy Skinner will be off the air for at least several months so liberals all over are popping their champaign corks today. She is in the extreme minority of KTLK talk show hosts on the position of prosecuting the members of the Bush Administration for war crimes and civil rights violations. They are putting bills through congress to regulate Mortgages as to what they can no longer do, and to spell out rights more completely for consumers. Also they have slapped a limit on intrest rates the credit card companies can charge. There will be no more 24% or higher charges. That is 24% in real money with little inflation with a base price of zero, so that is pure profit for them, taxed at the bargain basement rate of 15% courtesy the Bush adminestration. This is a very different "real interest rate" situation from what existed thirty years ago. Also in the news today is the exclusion by Congress and whoever of anybody in favor of the Single Payer Health Cars system. They aren't even allowed to sit at the table or participate in discussion or to help in the formulation of policies. I think what exasperates many on the left with President Obama is that he "gives everything away" right off the top, so that the left have no chips left with which to bargain. The H M O's are ripping everybody off. They'll offer you a fifty dollar cute in rates if you'll agree to have the deductable jacked up to $7,500. Of course if I have it right the government wants to tax the health plan you have at work as actual income. People in Europe and other nations are laughing at us paying such high rates for health rate coverage, when we don't even have it. It's an idea whose time will come - sooner or later.

Lady Liberty, as it were, has been in mourning since 9 - 11 because they haven't allowed public tours up to the viewing platform in the crown. But that all will be changing soon as tourists will once again be allowed, on a lottery basic, to make that long, winding trek up to the top. I consider it an important symbolic act, to make "liberty" accessable to all.

People are worried about Pakistan and Afghanistan. The question is who to side with in that region of the world- - the Shiites or Al Qaeda or the Pakistini government that may be falling apart. It's always been my contention that you side with the group that is the least insane, and to my way of thinking that's the Shiites at this point. If we could become their friends- - and Ronald Reagan wanted to do it- - perhaps they would look to us rather than China for financial aid and guidence. They always say "Keep your friends close and your enemies closser". If we gamble on the Pakistani government - - and Al Qaeda overruns the place, we are kind of out of political amunition. In siding with Iran, we can maintain our war with Al Qaeda and perhaps realize that illusive goal of capturing Bin Laden - - and we know they aren't going any where. They will still be there tomorrow. We can't say that about Pakistan. Our P R in that part of the world hasn't been too good with our drone planes killing civilians. In the past I have viewed the Afghan situation with more rosey colored glasses. But if the tide goes against us now- - we could have the whole region including Russia on our backs. It would seem to me that if we picked one ally with whom our credibility isn't too damaged, and stuck with them, this would be better. I am not anti Israel. Even Israeli leaders have said there needs to be a Palistinian nation. If I were President I think I'd try and nail down all the previous ambiguities in communacation and tie all the loose ends together and hammer out a situation I really think both people would prefer if they thought about it rationally. In StarTrek there was this episode about a negotiator who just "wore out" both sides untill they both agreed to the terms that he set down.

Stealing God's Powers

This is Tuesday morning May 5, 2009, el cinco de Mayo. Sometimes you have ideas forming in your mind and you want to wait until they are fully germinated before you write them down. I wanted to write on the topic of “Stealing God’s Powers”. You all may remember that StarTrek TNG episode where Captain Piccard is with this foxy seductive woman, who claims that she “owns his spaceship” because she won it as part of a deal. And she wants to be worshiped by the people of the planet as some combination Devil-Savior or something because she owns their souls. Piccard says to her, “In my travels across space, I’ve come across far more credible and formidable opponents than you. To be frank, you come across as kind of a flim-flam artist. Later on at a court trial Piccard announces, “Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I have stolen my opponents powers”, and then goes on to duplicate all her tricks which so awed the population of the planet. I was just thinking: “Are there people today who have stolen God’s powers?” - - and who inwardly are rather proud of it? Jesus of KFI had a promo on the radio about his program in which he made the claim, “There are some of you out there who have turned to some sort of spiritual guidance or source for help, but these so-called religious sources may be actually taking you further away from me”. Sometimes it’s interesting to put to put two statements side by side to either contrast them or to show the utter absurdity of one or both of them. I immediately thought of Dr. Dean Edell’s statement, “There are some of you out there who turn to vitamins because the basic problem is that you don’t have a good diet and you think that vitamins can substitute for a well balanced nutritional diet”. So I’m thinking to myself: A person who is well balanced and already has a good “religious diet” and has “networking” and all that for help in his life when he needs it- - such a person isn’t going to turn to a show they hear on the radio by a man claiming to be someone who died two thousand years ago. He wouldn’t do that any more than a person who ate a well balanced diet and was already healthy would turn to some of these quack vitamin remedy programs you hear on radio or see on TV. I’m not impugning any program on KTLK radio. These shows appear to be well informed with balanced, knowledgeable people who know their subject. But there are people in the media, and you may have come across them, that will “hook” you with some line. But a normal person who heard that “Jesus” commercial would not give it another moment’s thought but quickly deduce that this was some crack-pot. But how do these religious people try and “get inside your head”. First of all if a person uses the term “manipulate” a lot in their discourse when referring to certain “others” who are “dangerous”, you can rest assured they are engaged in projecting their own faults on to others, and they themselves are master manipulators. This one guy leading a class played a Van Morrison song the other day. It was one I’d never heard before and to me it sounded unusual. It was on the subject of existentialism. A lot of people like Chuck Smith like to trash “existentialist” philosophy, when most people in the public have scarcely ever heard of it and don’t know what it is. “Existentialism” basically is study of “What is the meaning of Life?” “Why am I here?” and related topics. So many Christian come-ons are existentialist in nature as kind of a hook to lure you in making you think they are concerned about your life. Of course you know- - last week I was thinking of directing my fire at Laura Schleshenger, the shrink on the radio. But since Dr. Laura has never said anything against me, personally, it wouldn’t be Christian to go out and attack her personally. But I just might lay down a few general guidelines even a small child could relate to. If you were trying to lose weight, and you were encountering talking animals, like a small child would expect to do, you most likely would not go to a prize winning Hog at the county fair for advice on dieting. You wouldn’t turn to a burrowing rodent in order to conquer your fear of agoraphobia. And if your Elsa the lioness from the movie “Born Free” (remember that?) you wouldn’t turn to one of these lions I once saw at a theme park, I forget which one. There was an old lion right by the entrance of the park just sitting there peacefully, that had been de-fanged and de-clawed. If you were a young lioness cub you wouldn’t turn to such a lion to learn how to hunt, would you? And if you were interested in relaxation technique and yoga and transcendental meditation, you wouldn’t turn to one of the tigers in the Siegfried and Roy circus exhibit would you? Have you ever held a cat that didn’t want to be held? Sometimes they will pretend to relax, but the minute they sense they are really free they will shoot out of your arms. Just as certain soils talked about in the Bible have fast, sudden growth of vegetation, yet the soil is incredibly shallow and the plants have no root in themselves and wither away in the heat of the day, so it is with many Christians I have met. There seems to be some invisible but definite “Maginoff Line” with them, where you may not cross. Before some particular date, it’s as though they didn’t exist. With such an individual you never know what is going to “set them off” or they will suddenly react erratically to some ordinary event. A lot of times when a Christian says “I’m really going to get serious about the Lord” it means he’s going to be harder to live with and more self-obsessed and touchy about stuff.

And now we come to today. I was just thinking about the subject of “Revealed Knowledge”. I have spoken often in my writings about The Sixth Dimension, yet I have never adequately described what it’s like to be in “the sixth dimension”. I guess to be honist I’m guilty of the Bob Dylan sin of “trying to hide what I don’t know to begin with”. This is always bad for a religious leader to do. I used to be surrounded by a lot of religious nuts. Once the basics of the Faith are established- - people assume “Permission” to come up with all sorts of bizarre “science fiction” theories about God and how he interacts with mankind. According to “Oh God”, George Burnes likes to show his greatest “trick” by pulling out a deck of cards and playing the illusionist. We’re all thinking, “come on, give me a break”. We all know what “The Basics” consists of. You repeat some believer’s creed every week in church, and suddenly everything is taken care of; you’re Good for another week, as far as God is concerned. In philosophy class we were taught that “Revealed knowledge” was a legitimate form of knowledge, and that people routinely got “knowledge” nobody else had from direct revelations from God. But Jesus of KFI now assumes himself to be the repository of all Divine knowledge that used to be dealt out to all mankind throughout the world. Jesus is kind of like Ebonezer Scrooge in that he is higher meiserly with this connection he has to the almighty and doesn’t think it should be shared. But in reality he’s worse than Scrooge was. Scrooge assumed that the tax payers would take care of the poor and the like. But Jesus believes that once you say those magic words and accept “the faith” by uttering whatever creed, you are pretty much Set for Life as far as God is concerned. But I myself as guilty in the past of “stealing God’s power”. Here’s why. As I say I’ve been surrounded by whackos in the past, so I gave myself “permission” to believe in things I normally wouldn’t such as The Orion Federation, and all of the other entities out there. I have been writing of these E T I topics for so long it’s like they are a part of me. Just as Soren Kirkiguard spoke of a “leap in faith” to become a Christian, at this point I’d have to take a “leap in doubt” to bring myself to disown all that talk about the Federation and the Reigellians and the Romulans and all the rest. Actually, someone said Kirkiguard was an existentialist. But contrary to things others have said about him, I’ve found him to be among the more rational philosophers. You know I was just thinking this morning that Astrology must be tied in with the sixth dimension- - because it’s like the sixth dimension represents “Revelation” of all the mysteries of life. So you can find out what the future holds, and why that coincidence occurred in your life. I believe there is something to astrology or I wouldn’t lean on it. It’s basis has nothing to do with any of the Four Fources that astro-physicists talk about. These are “the strong force” of binding atoms, “the weak force” of radioactive decay, electro-magnetism, and finally- - the one macro force, Gravity. Instead astrology derives it’s power through what you might call the “unified field theory” or everything in the universe being connected with everything else- - kind of like the I Ching. Things such as time and space do not matter, they don’t enter into the calculations, in the psychic dimension. I would like to conclude in pointing to some physical evidence of revealed knowledge. In ancient writings they spoke of Mars having two little companions, Phobos and Dimos, and that phobos meant fear and ran around really fast. Now we learn that Mars has two tiny moons, which were named Phobos and Dimos. Also in ancient writings were the notions that Saturn had rings around it, which we never knew about till the 1600’s. Also in ancient writings was the notion that Jupiter was the king of the gods. And we now know that Jupiter is the largest of all the planets. The fact that Mercury is known for speed has nothing to do with the Ford motor company- - however- - -this is a deduceable fact from observing the planet Mercury in the skies, that even the Romans had figured out.

Suitor To Leave the Supreme Court

Justice David Suitor announced that he would be retiring at the end of this Court season. Suitor wants to return to New Hampshire while he is still in good health. He's only 69, which means he is one of the younger justices. Justice Suitor is most famous for the famous stab in the back to right to life protagonists when he ruled in favor of Abortion in a key case in 1991 or so, that basically changed the whole tide on the topic of abortion. Suitor was appointed by Bush 41 and turned out to be one of the Court's predictably liberal justices. He didn't go along in the Bush verses Al Gore vote to end the investigation and declare George Bush the winner in the 2000 election. There were murmurings about Suitor being "unstable" because he wasn't married.

Tomorrow, May 4th is the 39th anniversary of the Kent State shootings of four students. These shootings shocked everybody. They were out protesting the Viet Nam War and more specifically Nixon's "incursion" into Cambodia a few weeks previous. People want to bring back the draft because more people will protest. But I don't think anyone is seriously suggesting that protesting NOW can accomplish anything, besides perhaps getting yourself killed by the National Guard. This time of the year there are lots of May Day protests but those are even fewer in number this year. Some have the theory that there are fewer street protests in hard times because people fear losing their jobs by taking a day off from work. Some of these will even say that protests are an inherently good thing because they show a "healthy dialog" with government. Everybody pretty much has the message that protests don't work because the media no longer covers them. There is kind of a delusion that exists now that Joel Olsteen was talking about that "If you offer no resistance and don't fight back when others oppress you, then God will see your distress and reward you". But this line of reasoning relies on what I call the Gandhi myth. Because Gandhi got good press coverage in England, it is supposed that "someone somewhere out there" will see you and your cause and somehow feel sorry for you. It doesn't work that way today.

As you may not know, this blog was locked down for two days. As such I have to decide which things that I was going to bring up are still relevant. I wanted to talk about a posting a couple of places down in this blog of "Skeletons from the Closet". The title of the posting is, "What a Revolting Development This Is". I would like to explain myself and my motivations. As you may know I have a fanatic fundamentalist Christian background. And these people believe that behind every strong national leader, be he a king or potatentate, or president, behind every strong leader is some demonic power in the "realm of the spirit". And that various candidates are sponsored by various "wicked powers in high places" to quote St. Paul. I have also told you people what Michael Benner often said on his radio program that "When you become president, some dark figures take you to some back room where they explain to you that you aren't your own man but they are a group who is secretly ruling the country and that any President has to do their bidding or- - - well let's just say, unseemly things might happen to him. I'll leave it at that. The idea is that an independant candidate like the platform Obama ran on during the primary campaign last year- - such a candidate could never get elected without "help from higher ups", if you know what I mean. I know the posting came off as a "Psycho" movie sequel, but if you read every sentense slowly and carefully, it will make more sense to you. My writing isn't the sort of writing you can speed-read through, viewing only every third sentense. There are various financial bills in congress now that Obama is under pressure to side with Wall-Streeters on, and this one about hiking credit card interest rates is one of them. Regardless of what he says, Obama isn't really for "the little guy" when push comes to shove.

There is one more issue I need to re-address. Last Friday on his radio program, Thom Hartman talked about how hate crimes are really terrorist crimes. They are corporate crimes against an entire ethnic group. He raised the example of lynching a Black man and doing it in an extremely blatent and public manner so as to drive the point home. Hartman concludes "Such a crime is horrible, don't you agree?" I've thought about it. A lynching of the type they had in the South is certainly despicable and intimidating. But I happened to think: if the Court system is fair, all of the conspirators will be given the death penalty. And you can't get much more drastic than that. There are things taken into consideration like mitigating and aggravating qualities of the act, that modify the sentense. Certainly a public lynching would be an aggravating act. But where my head is at on this issue are people in my life- - I can think of a Pastor, and also another guy who is a Bible teacher. These two people bear me mallace. I didn't need to hire a psychic to learn they had it in for me. Their intention was made manifest by their actions. People's actions spell out a lot. You can be dispicable and say "I didn't mean it" or "I was only joking" or the Frat Boy favorite "We didn't mean for things to get out of hand". Certainly they have conspiracy laws on the book where intent can be inferred by a suspicious pattern of people's actions. You know there is a scripture that says "Vengeance is Mine - saith the Lord". If I am oppressed, don't I just have the option of "turn it over to God"? I don't have to exaust myself trying to somehow rationalize a good motive the person had when there was none. I've had a therapist tell me "Well, I'm sure that person must have had a good intention". Sometimes, "You know what you know". How does Joel Olsteen feel about Shottenfreuden, or whatever. In my own life two of the biggest sources of screwing up my walk as a Christian- - two of the most influencial people in my life- - - are dead now. Should I say "Thy will be done?" Regardless of what I tell God his will is already manifest anyhow, so I might as well make it easy on myself. I still maintain, returnint to the root topic, that looking at actions is what counts, either good actions or bad actions. I'm not God. I can't do all the psycho-analytic stuff anyway!
