The Six Mystery Dimensions

So what are the six mystery dimensions.  I felt like saying "forbidden dimensions", which would be a more enticing title.  Moe Kelly said yesterday that often "It's not what you say; it's the way you say it that differs from the way anyone else says it".  And so it is that I would like to see myself as answering questions in a way clearer and unique to me.   So I'm not talking about "psychic portals", of which countless movies have been made about.  This is some entrance to some whole "occult dimension" filled with all manner of demons that reside there or whatever.  Star Trek does their own scientific version of this "forbidden dimensions" aspect.   For instance they have this thing called "sub space" where if scientists "probe too deeply" into it then you get abducted by sub space creatures who perform surgery on you.  Or you see a mist fog in the loading bay where the sub space creatures are attempting to take up residence in your area.  There is another Star Trek episode with a "beware" message.  This involves traveling at Warp Nine too much along certain traffic lanes where all sorts of bad things happen to the fabric of the Universe, "Like a carpet that wears out of you tread too many times along a beaten path and the carpet becomes threadbare".   Others of a scientific bent might think in simpler terns than these extending the ordenary number of spacial dimensions to six.   If this were the case a whole bunch of complicated mathematical formulas would come into play.  For instance there is my patented formula for computing the correct number of ninety degree planes any cube would have in four, five or six dimensions that nobody else seems to have arrived at correctly.   Also Google CHOOSE another of their math commands would come into play CHOOSE 2 would be triangulation in two dimensions.  CHOOSE 3 would be triangulation in three dimensions.  CHOOSE 4, 5, and 6, thusly would be triangulations in 4, 5, or 6 dimensions.  (note, it's always CHOOSE x - 1 for reasons too complicated to go into) I do not even count such "Poly-dimensional space" in my list of dimensions.  Three of my "mystery dimensions" or those which have no scientifically measurable component and so don't count as part of my original - - Eleven dimensions.  Three of my new ones are simply Psychic Encounters of the first, second, and third kind.  The first kind is like a radio station or voices giving you simple messages that you get.  The psychic dimension of the second kind is like watching a TV screen or a crystal ball where you see a movie picture of what is taking place at a distance.  The third kind it follows is actually being transported to some reality where your body is physically there (or seems to be).  You can see, hear, smell and touch your surroundings.  If there is a smell of (for instance) iron filings in the air, then you smell it.   If we want to keep this discussion generic- - - this talk stops here.  That's the simple theory behind these three dimensions.   But a lot of you have questions and I"d like to try and answer your biggest question.   That would be "Is psychic travel instantanious or is it confined to the speed of light and thus dependent on the "Ether" of space or that "soup" of bozons or whatever that scientists say that empty space is made out of.  My answer has traditionally been- - - - it isn't ordenary "Ether" such as the radio waves people speak of.  Indeed my writings speak of instantanious contact with planets light years away and would take that long to get a message from- - one way.   But I have used the image of the "standing wave" to describe both phenomina - - - and hence we need some special "psychic ether" to propigate these psychic "standing waves" in.   (for "standing waves" see previous material)   Of course not to bring in Star Trek again but as you know it's said that the vast majority of a person's "mass" is not from the quarks (the building blocks of sub atomic particles) that you are made of but your "binding energy".  I insist that this "binding energy" if what is unique to you and is un-duplicatable.  Whereas the "quarks" are what I call fungable and so they are interchangable- - one quark is as good as any other.  And I have spoken in the past of "holes" in your "energy field" and you simple find the right quarks that fit into these missing puzzle pieces and you're all good to go.  You have successfully found a way of transporting something at light speed, or faster than light speed.  As far as I know Star Trek has never gone into this detail explaining it.

Perhaps this paragraph will be MORE TO THE LIKING of some of you.  It's about karma or "How to have a happy life".  People what to live happy, fulfilled lives, don't they?  The secret, not so dark and deep as all that- - - is simply to exercise PRUDENCE in all that you say and do every minute of the day.  For some of you you say "I'm too lazy and self indulgent to do all that".  So we come to the three karmic dimensions of mine.  It occurred to me that some of you rather than hear about "karmic funnels" and orbeting ball bearings and all that- - would so for the old idea of Freud of the Ego, the Superego, and the Id.  The ID here would be what is pulling you down or "karmic gravity".   Then we have the Superego, which is karmic space or freedom from "going down the chute" in the psychic funnel.  The question arises "ball bearings are inimanimate objects have no propultion system so how can they WILL THEMSELVES to either speed up or to slow down?  If you're a strict determinist Calvinist- - there IS no way.  You are left at the hands of Destiny and have no control over it.  But it's my belief that if we exercise prudence in our daily lives and do what is prudent for any given moment- - then in the end we will prosper.  I know such reasoning required Faith that it's really true.  We all want freedom from our "orbit of sin" I speak about in my book.  We then have the terms I later introduced of psychic DOWN SHIFTING and psychic UP SHIFTING.    The first one is more fun.  We trade speed for torque.  Some may wonder why I say this is the EASIER of the choices.  Because when you're traveling uphill- - - it's easier on the engine and the drive shaft and whatever- - there's less constraining force or NEEDED TORQUE to overcome- - - if we adjust the gears so that it's easier to peddle or whatever with less resistence.  To move from the psychic funnel image to the one of the chessboard or football field- - - you can see why FORCE or THROW WEIGHT is important.  It gets those linemen in your way out of the way so you can forge ahead and create more karmic space for your team so that your team (whoever is on your side) and you control more of the field or chessboard and have more karmic space.  There is a third image that I employed in 1983 to describe psychic karma and that's the one of the spiral staircase normally going clockwise and upward.  In this image, you can volentarily step down to the previous step and this step is smaller and so you look "bigger".  It's like going back a grade where you already know everything and just coast.  Going one step upward too soon means you'll be advancing to a new "difficulty of learning curve" like a higher level of a video game.  It could be said that psychic up-shifting banks accrewed karma.  You save it up for later when you need it.  If you go into overdrive under the right circumstances you can save fuel because you already have all the forward momentum you need.  Unfortunately the question comes up as to what CONTROL you have of either psychic down or up shifting?  Perhaps none.  One is tempted to think of invoking metaphysical forces as if casting some sort of spell to accomplish this act.  Or maybe you pray (to someone) "God give me a challenge to overcome for today) and don't know what you're asking for.  Or perhaps such things are determined by other factors such as fung chue or astrology.   You need the right planetary alignment.  It's human nature to say "I think I have banked a lot of unused karma already and I'd like to spend it".  You're tired of the constant upgrade and would like a little down-grade now.  Someone may ask a more basic question is that "Is it always good karma to go straight FORWARD rather than vary your orbit to the right or to the left?  You could do that theoretically.  Objects in a closer orbit to a MASS (or funnel hole) naturally have more speed and objecs veering away from the center naturally slow down.  Star Trek makes a logically wrong assumption about time travel and "sling shotting close to the sun and generating gravity force to alter time (in an episode about UFO's on a Gemini flight).   They are working with a mis apprehension that going close to the sun is always associated with increasing or decreasing gravity.  Actually comets do this all the time.  They travel much brighter and faster close to the sun in accordance with Kepler's law.  But they are in a gravity free field as ANY orbiting body is in a zero gravity field.  Hence (bottom line) is veering to the left or two the right simply doesn't matter.  It will only generate cycles of increased karmic speed or not and will not help you in your final quest to "escape the karmic wheel".  I hope these remarks have been helpful.

Last night I had a dream that I traveled by helicopter around some lake north of El Cajon in SD County and from there we took a plane flight to Germany.  Our destination was the reeperbaum or whatever in Berlin.  I thought as we landed “I’ve finally made it to Europe in my lifetime”.   I was traveling with a friend who had this idea that I would enjoy gambling over there where they had computer games involving gambling.  But I needed help to “set up my account” and Augustine was there and he was supposed to help out with that somehow.  This friend of mine and me were dressed in liederhosen because that’s what they wore, and we were pretending to be a gay couple because he said that I would fall under less “suspicion” that way.  A lot of this dream was carrying luggage around from place to place and keeping track of it.   That’s the dream.

This is Christmas day.   Yesterday was December 24th and the fiftieth anniversary in 1966 of the last time I saw Sydney J Adler as a patient.   Cosmically yesterday was the actual release date of the re-working of “Radar Screen Vol 3” and the Free Bonus album that we were talking about.  I was out smoking at ten after one and this one guy lent me a white cigarette.  I smoked my own last cigarette about nine thirty.  Today is the day I ran out of money and cigarettes.  Bill asked me what was on channel seven and I had forgotten all about the NBA on Christmas.   [material left out]  I watched the last part of the third quarter and all of the fourth quarter of the Cleveland Cavileers and Golden State Warriors game.  The Warriors had been ahead by at least fourteen points but the Cavileers came back and beat them by one point 109 to 108 or something at the end.

At nine thirty I went to the store again.  Now Ben tells me that I’m late and I missed most of the coffee.  Ben invited me to have the remainder of what coffee was in the pot and he gave me a small cup for it and said I could have it for free.  I watched Breakfast with the Beatles.   They had Christmas songs done in other ways mainly by the “Feb Four”, who must have some kind of a Christmas album.  They also played the rocky version of “Wonderful Christmas Time”.   They played “The First Noel” done like “Let it Be” and “Sleigh Ride Together with You” done like “Lady Madonna” and “Blue Christmas” done in the style of Revolution I.   They also played “Jingle Bells” by Frank Sinatra, and “All I Want For Christmas is a Beatle” but it’s the teeny bopper version done by someone named Becky.  They played “Run, Run Rudolph” which wasn’t written by Chuck Berry.  And they played “White Christmas” done by Darlene Love, the most talented of the Specter girls.  They played that weird violin version of “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and also “Come on Christmas, Christmas come on” off of that Christmas Ringo album.  I also caught the Beatles 1965 Christmas recording and the last third of their 1969 Christmas record.  I didn’t go for snacks in the morning.  Glenda said she was being picked up by her daughter.  I’m hop;ing that I will be able to get coffee from her tonight once she returns.

The Makings of a Despot

I guess the thought may have occurred to you that if Donald Trump has become so despotic that he thinks of himself as God, that - - just how much do “God” and Donald Trump have in common.   We hear it said of both that they are “mysterious” and “have a wonderful plan for our lives” and that they are secretive.  Judy says that Trump is like a poker player and doesn’t reveal his will ahead ot time but does all things just at the right time.  The same is said of God.  Great wisdom is imputed to both God and Trump that “Their ways are nigher than our ways and we cannot begin to understand”.  We are told that when God or Trump appears to make a mistake it isn’t really a mistake.  Because both God and Trump don’t make mistakes.  God never “forgets” a promise he has made and it’s universally said that in thousands of years not one promise of God has failed.  We are of course instructed to offer both God and Donald Trump our unqualified trust.  Of course we hear endlessly of “Out faith being tested”.   The people who supported Donald Trump never failed him.  They kept the faith and were rewarded.  Now FOX news is more popular than ever because those on FOX such as Christie and Giuliani and Gingrich kept the faith and FOX has higher ratings than anybody else now.   Of course nobody points out that this is the Fascist appeal.  It’s one of the oldest appeals in history (which to me isn’t appealing at all) of appeal to a power authority.  It’s the old adage that it’s better to be “strong and wrong” rather than “right” but “weak” as Jimmy Carter was.

But then we have the problem, as long as we’re discussing promises, just what constitutes an actual promise.  In the law- - - promises are carefully worded and legally binding with a penalty to be exact should they fail.  Most promises in law aren’t binding unless they are made with “consideration” or quid pro quo.  I learned this as a senior in high school while in “Business Law”.   It would be a wonderful thing to receive an unconditional promise, but they don’t expect these.  Normally swearing an oath or something involved putting a part of ourselves on the line.  Thus it was said in Jesus’ time that if you swore by the Temple the oath was not binding.  But is you swore by the Gold in the Temple then your oath was binding.  The theory here is that gold is a human attribute and demotes human worth and ability to pay.   It’s “worth”.    It is aid that your word isn’t “worth” anything unless it’s backed up by something.  In this way we know that people, such as an employer, will keep their promises to pay us or whatever.  But with God we don’t have any of these constraints.    This guy who was on television went through the Bible and enumerated scads of promises of God.   The trouble is I’ve talked to two pastors (both from St Paul’s church) and both said to me that it’s not that they say that counts so much as what the hearer chooses to hear?  We all translate the words of either God or a pastor therefore into our own words and understanding.  Thus there is a vital human link of understanding missing from so many promises in the Bible.  We are promised “Eternal Life” in the Bible, but what does that mean?  How does that promise translate to our daily life?   Some would ask me “Are you accusing God of lying?”  My answer is “Not yet”.   So God can talk about peace and joy and all that stuff.  But often a pastor has to put his own spin on the Bible.  Last night on that computer show on KTLA there was the problem of “What happens when the goals of the PROGRAM itself become adverse or at odds with those of the programmer?”  Logic would dictate that such a thing could never happen.  The only way it could would be if some enemy introduced a VIRUS into the program that made it do strange things contrary to the will of the programmer.  But when Pastors get to talking they invariably speak of “Free Will” in a human being as tantamount to sin.  It’s a “mistake” that God seems to have made by “trusting” mankind with Free Will, and as these pastors speak they speak of the regret often expresses in giving man free will.  My view of a Calvinistic, determinist view of God doesn’t allow for this sort of reasoning.  But when I think of my own life I have to ask- - “Did God promise me personally a happy life BY MY OWN DEFINITION OF HAPPINESS or is just my life supposed to be a part of some “Plan”that I don’t know about?   Did God promise me personally a good paying, fulfilling job and carrier?  Did God promise me a happy marriage and children and grandchildren to look after me in my old age.  A quick glance of scripture would say “No, I don’t see your name in scripture”.  Well then is there ONE promise of God that has actually “failed”.   Logic tells us that computer programs never “fail” to work as they were written.  (Selah)   No, the reason why they act as they do is indeed BECAUSE they were written that way, like it or not.  Well I’ve come up with one scripture where it looks as though God’s word failed.  This is “I have never seen the righteous begging bread”.  Yet my family put me on welfare, SSI a couple of decades back.   Pastors will immediately jump in and say “Well GOD has a plan for your life but due to CIRCUMStANCES beyond God’s control God was unable to fulfill his promises for you because of certain human intervention.   I’m not even going to get into the area of “God speaking directly to us” but am confining my remarks to what scripture says.

Let’s now return to Donald Trump.  We hear him say words like “Huge” and “Wonderful” and “Tremendous” and one I like “Very quickly we’ll see action”.   And so we look over the promises of Trump.  He personally guarantees that he doesn't blindly trust Vladimir Putin just beecause he and his secretary of State are best buds with Putin.  We have the promise that Trump will work with Russia to end the Syria crisis and fight ISIS forces together, which is something we couldn't expect from Hillary if she got in.  He promised us he would go after Wall Street because only the rich can truly understand the machinations of Wall Street and how to control them and reign in the special interests and lobbyists.  It sounds good.  Trump said he would not cut Social Security or Medicare.  He says “We’ll be bringing in so much money we won’t have to cut these”.    Judy says that trump is a poker player and doesn’t show his cards.   Thom Hartman salves us with such phrases of “He’s playing chess while those around him are playing checkers”.  How well did that one work out for you, Tom?  We hear that Trump will get after Iran and not give them any of the money we promised.  “Iran will never get that money back” and then Trump would make a lot of pre demands on Iran before he’d negotiate Nukes with them.  I heard these remarks on 4.2 in the afternoon because I missed them in the morning.   And we hear that Donald Trump will tear up the NAFTA and CAFTA agreements and not sign the Trans Pacific Partnership.  This all sounds good.  We are told that ghetto Blacks “Can’t lose” with Trump and that the economy is going to take off in amazing ways we can’t imagine.  Chuck Smith made fantastic promises too.  He said that God would make transformations in our lives that would be truly amazing and bring us happiness and fulfillment beyond our wildest dreams.    But if you are found to be a liar- - aren’t you committing the greater deception the bigger the promise that is unfulfilled.   You’ve heard of “The Big Lie” and Donald Trump is giving us “The Big Promise”.  Tell a lie or promise that is so big, so fantastic that it MUST be true.  This is the adage.  But Trump is like a romance gone bad and suddenly all of the good things you thought you saw in him have all gone sour.

Obama Press Conference (December 16, 2016) edited down to 43:21

This album and the “Radar Screen 3” one were never officially released till Saturday December 24th at ten to six, in this case in the AM on Sirius A. This hour was John Lennon's suggestion based on the song.  I think most people will like the song line up better than the original draft. There are three big substitutions. This album was cleared with Mal Evans because the “overlap police” were on our tail. We don’t have the overlaps we had with the preliminary line-up. The editing on the Obama Press Conference remains identical to what it was when we originally listed this album. The song line-up on the other CD released with this one is also identical to what we told you. *In 1969 there was a “Not for Sale” album released of old Guess Who songs from 1965 and this track was on that album. “Evil Hearted You” was on the album “Have a Rev-up” or something. “The Fab Four” is a Beatle sound alike group and not the actual Beatles, in case you were wondering.

A Summary of all Donald Trump's Lies

Since the election, I have argued that the Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton war against business will come to an end, and that America will once again reward success, not punish it. Nobody beats so called Christians as far as “punishing” my own efforts at improving myself. This is something they do NOT really believe. No democrat wants to punish a decent day’s pay for a decent day’s work. The Stock Market has risen after all from something like 7,000 in the early months of the Obama Administration to on the verge of twenty thousand now. And while the Left has demonized Trump's cabinet appointees as a terrible group of successful business people, free-market capitalists such as myself regard this group as very good indeed. The left hasn’t “demonized” Trump’s cabinet because they are successful but because they have no government experience. Business and government each require their own set of prerequisites.

Why shouldn't the president surround himself with successful people? Wealthy folks have no need to steal or engage in corruption. This is a lie. Chuck Smith tried to advance this argument that “the rich have no need for money” and all and no need apparently to even commit a sin because they’re already perfect or something. They aren’t made perfect by the blood of Christ but by the almighty dollar. Their business success demonstrates that they know how to achieve goals and convince skeptics that good deals can be made to the benefit of both sides. Isn't this just what America needs? No this is Not what America needs.
And most of these folks aren't political. This used to be true back in the sixties. I’ll be the first to agree with that. They are highly political now. They won't be afraid to reach across the aisle for bipartisan solutions. And that includes Mr. Trump himself. For many of his years he was a Democrat. Just like Ronald Reagan. Just like me. The truth however is that nothing will pass without getting past Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan and not Trump will be the gatekeeper of legislation.

I've always loved Winston Churchill's comment that "If you're not a socialist in your twenties, you have no heart. But if you're not a capitalist in your thirties, you have no mind." Many of these “Jesus Children” were brainwashed at an early age in a way the original Christians never were to embrace a far right wing political and social outlook.

In our new book, JFK and the Reagan Revolution, Brian Domitrovic and I explain how the two great pro-growth tax-cutting presidents -- JFK the Democrat, Ronald Reagan the Republican -- used civility and respect to communicate key ideas in a bipartisan effort that yielded terrific results for American prosperity. The lie spawned by Larry Elder and others is that JFK got the tax cuts passed. Johnson passed them and they spawned one of the biggest deficit epidemics of its day and the Republicans, rightfully so, were the first to condemn them.

So far, this has been the Trump way. Not only has he conducted himself with great civility, beginning with his Oval Office meeting with President Obama, he has sought an inclusive approach wherever possible, irrespective of party. Personally, I haven’t seen it.

Yet with less than a month until the inauguration, it is crucial that Mr. Trump embarks on immediate bipartisan efforts to strengthen the economy. It was the number-one election-year issue. And despite strong post-election increases in business and consumer-confidence -- along with the stock rally -- the economy is weakening yet again.

Measured year-to-year, real GDP is rising only 1.7 percent. Business fixed investment continues to decline. Productivity is flat. Consumer spending has barely risen in the last two months, while both auto production and sales are slumping. Non-financial domestic profits have declined year-to-year for the last six quarters. President Obama had a STEADY positive economic growth all the time he was in office, a claim neither Bush W or Ronald Reagan can begin to make.

Of all these factors the slump in business fixed investment is the most harmful. If you go back in history, across the four long post-war recoveries of the '60s, '80s, and '90s, BFI averaged nearly 7 percent. In the Obama recovery, BFI was only 4 percent. Over the past two years, it has been flat. I don’t know what the BFI is.
Using a back-of-the-envelope rule of thumb, if the JFK/Ronald Reagan/Bill Clinton investment performance were in place now, our economy would be growing at 3 rather than 2 percent. A big difference. President Elect Trump said of the Blacks, the poor, and the under-paid, “You have nothing to lose by electing me”. Yeah and I have a bridge in New Jersey I want to sell you.
That's why pro-growth tax reform is so important. It is reported that Mr. Trump will immediately move to overturn costly Obama regulations, especially on small business. This is good. It will add to growth. But the big decision will be whether to repeal and rewrite Obamacare or enact tax reform as the first order of legislative business.

Replacing Obamacare is hugely important, both to improve our health-care system and remove the economic drag of its taxing, spending, and regulating. But business tax reform -- with low marginal corporate rates for large and small companies, easy repatriation, and immediate expensing for new investment -- will have an enormously positive impact on the weakest part of our economy, namely business investment.  The definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.  We tried tax cuts under Reagan and got exploding deficets and increased economic inequity.  The Bush tax cuts of 2001 did nothing to spur the economy.  This is the biggest fantasy of the right wing that tax cuts help the economy.   Any more than a shot of cocaine is just what someone who is suffering from some horrible disease doesn't need.

That's where we'll see 3 or 4 percent growth, higher productivity, more and better paying jobs, and fatter family pocketbooks. If there were a way to combine a two-year budget resolution with reconciliation instructions (51 Senate votes) to reform health care and taxes in one full sweep, that would be ideal. However, if tax reform (be it business or individual) comes second, and the start dates are postponed until 2018, then businesses and consumers will postpone economic activity. That could make 2017 a much weaker economic story than confidence surveys and the recent stock market suggest. There's a great transition going on, but the economy needs immediate attention. Tax reform is the key. The only “great transition” that will go on is that the economy will crash under Paul Ryan’s misguided leadership.

What I've Been Doing No 497

This is Saturday December 24, 2016 and let’s start off with a little seasonal news.  Today is Christmas Eve and also coincides with the start of Chanukah, which is the first time that has happened in thirty years.  I was wondering about that.   We then have FOX news itself making the news.  FOX news has always been known as Trump Central with all of the icons of the Trump campaign such as Giuliani and Gingrich setting up camp at FOX news.  We now hear that while all of the other news and cable news outlets have understandably gone down since the hysterical and freakazoid election.   But bucking the trend has been FOX news which is actually up in the ratings.  But people at KNX radio explain this anomally in that FOX people prognosticated correctly about the result of the November 8th election and people want to go with a winner.   We learn yesterday that Carrie Fisher had a major heart attack while aboard a United Air Lines flight from London to Los Angeles.  She was in critical condition but now is doing better.  Co star Mark Hammil tweeted “It’s as though 2016 couldn’t get any worse but now it has” or something like that.  I didn’t know her mother was still alive and sends her greetings.  We then have the other news of the day these past 24 hours.  The United Nations Security Council has voted 14 to nothing to condemn Israel for the settlements in the Jordan valley.  The US voted to abstain.  In the past the US itself has voted to condemn the settlements.  But now Donald Trump says that when he’s president all this is going to change and the United States will block such resolutions.  I don’t know.  I think if I were God and in charge of Israel I’d bring back bussing.  You know that social experiment that mixed Whites and Blacks?   Only I’d bus all of the Israeli top brass into the postage stamp area of Gaza and then turn the guns over to the Palestinians who now get the best treatment, and they can bomb the hell out of them for the next decade or so.

Yesterday morning Bill wanted the news on during the day and there was news from ten to ten thirty on some TV station but Bill was outside.  We had a mixture of pork chunks and rice for lunch.   Gosh, I forgot to invite Netanyaho over.  We had corn with that and spinach leaf salad with vinegar & oil dressing.   We had apple crisp for dessert.  Then I guess it was Gary and Shannon.  Meanwhile the weather has been looking ever more overcast and murky threatening rain.   On “Days” Chad and Abigail had one of these strained conversations one always has with someone who just reappeared from the dead.  Actually it reminded me of some of the conversations I’ve had with Laura.  I got orange drink from Rico in the afternoon on the patio and graham crackers.  I decided to change my routine and watch an hour of General Hospital, which predictably had Christmas trees, presents and children.  Then it was the 3:00 Eye Witness news.  They kept talking about how the surf gets weird once it actually starts raining.

I put on that reddish plaid Christmas shirt and used English Leather and then went down to tell Sarah at the med room that I would be out for several hours and to hold my medication.  Then I went in to tell my table mates.  I told Nora not to give me a plate she was handing out just then.   Judy called to say they were leaving and I went out and waited and it still hadn’t started raining.  I thought that was a major victory.  We got into a conversation about Global Warming on the way to Marie Calendar.  We would be getting there early for a five o clock reservation we might not have even needed at that hour.  Elizabeth was with us again.  I told Judy about Thom Hartman’s remark about how the Polar Vortex gives us polar air in a cold snap but then all that now warmed air returns to the Arctic and melts the polar ice.  Judy says “Obviously that guy has a political agenda in saying that.  We got to Marie Calendar and found a parking place really close to the entrance and it still hadn’t started raining.  We waited a while but then Tim, Marie, Mom and Wendy all showed up at the same time.  Wendy was wearing an outfit that actually lit up with Christmas lights.  Paul had on a plaid shirt which he claims is green but it looked gray to the majority of us.  Of course with my cateract problem colors fade until after your surgery.   I had been worried my cough would flair up bad, but I had surprisingly little problem that.  I thought the coffee was a little weak compared to other times.  It wasn’t my only complaint about this place.  There was some question about where I should be sitting.  Paul wanted me to move to the booth section of the seating area.  Actually I needed to go to the bathroom to try and take a crap because I felt bloated but it was mostly gas.  I felt as though my elimination has been incomplete.  (TMI)  I wanted to order steak, which I remember their having had in the past at least a little.  The closest thing I could come to that was pot roast and vegetables.  I was told they never served baked potatoes.  That was disappointing.  I had French fries.  Also I saw their soup of the day as clam chowder and ordered that but I didn’t get clam chowder but some other creamed soup.  I burnt my tongue on that.  I just think we need to reconsider our choice in restaurants.  They charge extra for soup or salad on a supposed “dinner order”.   Then when we got the bill there was a twenty percent “gratuity” figured into the bill already.  That’s a pretty stiff tip, particularly when it’s not voluntary.  I guess the conversation was OK.  Except Paul got really bored when I began talking about logarithms and changing to other bases when I thought the subject was computers.  I had misjudged.   Wendy and Tim and Marie were talking about Trump and his election.  Wendy said that “It’s the emotive impact of the words rather than the words themselves people remember”.    I threw in my more than two cents worth about the electoral college and how rigged it is- -but once again I sensed people weren’t tracking with what I was saying.  Maybe everybody was taking stupid pills.  Meanwhile Mom was having trouble hearing Wendy.  This became a whole lot harder once that party next door of 23 (?) arrived and were boisterous in conversation.   Mom seemed to be complaining a lot about things on the menu.  We had both corn bread and that garlic bread.  Mom remarked the garlic bread was toasted only on one side and the other side was soggy.  Anyhow we didn’t hang around for dessert.  I ate everything on my plate and later on would have loved a little pumpkin pie with whipped cream.  On any other Christmas we would have ordered a bunch of pies before headed to the house.  We didn’t even go to Paul and Judy’s but to Mom’s.   It still had not started raining or even cooled off that much when we left Marie Calendars.   On the way over Elizabeth remarked about Psalm 34 and how it reads, "Many are the afflictions of the rightious, but the Lord delivers him out of them all".   This is a scripture I need to hang on to if I can.  We came in the south entrance to Mom’s which is closer.  I haven’t gotten a picture calendar from Mom since 2014.  This year the only Christmas card I got was from Phyllis Green.  The Lord must have told her to give me one, and it would be the only one.  Money in cards was out of the question.  Tim and Marie didn’t have any gifts with them at all.  Wendy gave all of us the same gift again, and it was some metal dunickey which is a ten and one tool of some sort.  I wonder if you can break into the Pentagon with it?  Elizabeth was taking pictures of us all there with her I phone and we were all fiddling with the pictures.  Some of the pictures actually had a second or two of action in them.  There were panflets on the table about the difference between a hearing aid and just a sound amplification device.  I’m still a little fuzzy on the distinction.  Tim was indicating trouble hearing at times and he hasn’t gotten his hearing aid yet.  Wendy has put on a little weight and she was talking about her utter inability to resist sweets now.   One thing remained the same, which surprised me, and those were the fruit cakes that were passed out.  Although Judy has not been entirely well, she and Elizabeth still found the time to make a bunch of fruit cakes.   Wendy says Fred is still working at GM and Dianne is stuck at some low level court clerk office or something and wants an advancement.   Steve and Kathy both have high class genious jobs.   Paul surprised me in that he announced that he and Judy and Elizabeth were leaving.  I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to leave or not.  I thought about it.  I again felt bloated like I had gas.  My fruitcake and oranges from Paul’s tree were already in Paul’s car.  It just made more sense.  We showed Elizabeth the central garden of the place.   We reentered the building and they calabrated some sugar testing device.  We walked through the building to the other side.  Now at last it was raining and continued raining throughout the rest of the evening.  I arrived at this place just after eight o clock and got medication from Ida.

There was a lot of blood on the toilet seat.  Either someone has undiagnosed colon cancer or Glenda had a really heavy period.   Bill cleaned it up- - and then I used the bathroom – again.  Twice I went outside for cigarettes the rest of the evening.  There was basically nothing on television.   The next morning I got up and went outside and in the pre dawn hours I saw the moon for the first time in the clear sky.  This is the first time I was to see sunshine since Tuesday.  I got my medication from April.  I turned on KNX radio.  I went to the store at seven.  I got a $1.25 coffee and a yellow cigarette lighter and cigarettes.  I got tired of thrashing my thump on a lighter that didn’t work.  I brought my cup into the dining room.  We had Raison bran and Judy shared an extra bowl she had gotten with me so that I now had a full bowl.  We got our eggs and toast, butter and jelly.  I was telling Teresa that tomorrow when I get coffee I’ll have six cents remaining my my bank account, if I figured right.  But that today would be the last pack of cigarettes.

Get Back to Where You Used to Be

One thing you learn from Thom Hartman is that Republicans must have extraordenary patience, more so than any democrat.  You have the "Two Santa Clause' theory played out by Ronald Reagan and perhaps now by Donald Trump, where the Republicans spend like drunken sailors when in power and become Ebonezer Scrooge out of power.  Jude Juanisky must have been a genious to come up with this back in 1980.  And you have the Powell Memo back in 1971 which is why Nixon appointed him to the supreme court later that year.  He wanted an all Republican news network.   Now we hear that the Southern Strategy may date as far back as 1966.   Of course as long as George Wallace was a viable political force, he kind of put the kabosh on that for a time.  Meanwhile when democrats get to planning strategy they act as if they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.  Of course something else had my attention this morning.  I revisited that Beatle song compilation from January of 2014 where you could call it ‘[ - - ]’s picks’.  There are also four Beatles songs included because the mixing on them has become rare now.  These are “She’s Not There”, “Little GTO”, “Mr. Soul” and “Paint It Black” the latter because it’s in Stereo.  Actually as of right now there is no official demarcation point between the CD’s and this compilation hadn’t gotten as far as dividing the content up into equal CD’s.  In fact there are too many songs for two CD’s.   The paragraph above it is something I want to repost in a blog.  You know there are song lyrics that go “Get Back to the way you used to be”.   I wish I could.  How do you un ring the bell or un cast a spell?  In early 2014 things weren’t as politically bleak as they are now.  Thom Hartman discussed that great Nixon southern strategy plan again.  This was one of the major movements of the latter twentieth century.  Before this there were southern democrats a plenty and even in the eighties there were plenty of Democrats from the south.  In fact Gingrich points out that the reason why congress went along with many of President Reagan’s plans was because there were already so many conservative southern Democrats there.  But Nixon sought to change all that with his southern strategy.  You will remember that in 1970 Nixon declared his war on drugs.  And as John Erlichman admits- - the purpose here was two-fold.  It was to tie radical white hippies with the drug culture such as marijuana and hillucenigens, and also to tie ghetto Blacks to heroin and rock cocaine.  This move was successful.  But there was another dimension to this scheme that makes it even more sinister.  It was to “Blacken the faces of Democrats you see on the TV news”.  Nixon wanted people to associate the democratic party not with white working union people, but with ghetto black congressmen.  This could be accomplished by gerrymandering.  You rig it so that all of the minorities are gathered together into one district so that they can’t help but elect a Black congressman, often by a landslide vote.  The idea is to create the psychology among centrist democrats that “The Negroes are taking over” and if you want a secure home where you feel safe from that, then join the Republicans.  This past election where you see Trump winning the rust belt big time is the pay-off of this 45 year endeavor where you see white people in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania voting Republican in droves.  The question remains unanswered as to what these people will do when they realize they’ve been lied to and that Paul Ryan and the Republicans couldn’t care less about their jobs- only their votes.   Even now you hear exhalted glee from the Right wing radio commentators that “When this economy really gets going again in a year or two, all of these down and out disaffected people from Middle America will be oh so glad they voted Republican.

The following takes us back to January of 2014 and the formatting was messed up on the original of this compilation too.  Back in Jaunary of 2014 we had the Presidency and the US Senate and several more House members than we have now.  The BEST we could have done had Hillary even been elected is to get BACK to a situation that we had already deemed unacceptable.  Just think about it.

We have to set our political sights now on getting rid of three governors in particular.  These are Governor Snyder of Michigan, Scott Walker of Wistonsin, and Rick Scott of Florida.  Again - - Christie and Scott are such birds of a feather that Christie could not stay away from a campaign fund raising gathering, even though or perhaps Because, the media spot light was now turned full on him.  This war on the poor and the working man and minorities and seniors and the infirm- - is just Evil.  There is no other word for it.  It's a coordenated money effort of 'I'll scratch you back; you scratch mine".    On the Randy Rhodes the theory was advanced that it's the politicians themselves that "Extort' the corporations and Obama makes a good foil in all this because when a moderate piece of legislation is threatened - - the Congressman will call up the Corporation and say "How much is it worth to you to not have this piece of legislation passed?   Indeed they have their little show "hearings" before the cameras, but that's all they are.  They are just going through the motions to somehow "appear proper".   It's questionable whether or not actual Supreme Court decisions by the Highest Court in the land aren't "bought and paid for".   Someone said the day Obama was reelected that "We have slowed down the course of the coming upheavel Revolution in this country.  It would have occurred sooner with Romney, but it's going to occur just a little later with Obama's re election.   Again the History Books will comdem this whole period of 2009 to 2014 as the greatest period of moral and political decidence this country has ever seen.  So you wonder why I talked a rapture date of 10 - 12 -14 - - - (revised time of 9:44 PDT)   I'll tell you this.  Either THEY go or WE go because we cannot continue to all co-exist together any more without their being some kind of a major confligration.  (Selah)

Hail to the Deplorables!

I think a system originally designed to increase the influence of the vote of slave states and 3/5 of a non voting person "counts" - is deplorable and ought to be abolished
Are you a Deplorable? The answer might surprise you. Take this short quiz to find out.
1. If you agree with this characterization of American Elites: “The self-satisfied cosmopolitan culture that sprang up among the affluent 20% or so of the industrial world’s population, who became convinced that the temporary ascendancy of policies that favored their interests was not only permanent but self-evidently right and just.”(The Fifth Side of the Triangle The Archdruid Report)
You’re a Deplorable.
2. If you question whether globalization is actually in the national interest:You’re a Deplorable.
3. If you question whether endless wars of choice, drone strikes and foreign interventionsthat cost the lives of countless civilians are actually in the national interest: You’re a Deplorable.
4. If you see the major institutions of American life as corrupt, ineffective, and blatantly favoring the financial/social elites: You’re a Deplorable.
5. If you think it’s wrong that some immigrants (the illegal ones) get to “jump the queue”ahead of the millions of legal immigrants who have waited patiently for years and paid the costs of following the rules: You’re a Deplorable.
6. If you see the concentration of media ownership as a threat to democracy:
7. If you think the War on Drugs that’s imprisoned millions of young men is actually a War on the American People, a war that was prosecuted for the entire 24 long years of the presidencies of Bill Clinton, G.W. Bush and Barack Obama: You’re a Deplorable.
8. If you see the informal quotas on Asian-American students in America’s Ivy League universities as wrong and blatantly racist: You’re a Deplorable.
9. If you favor kicking over the tables of the money-lenders at the temple–those wonderful money-lenders who fund the campaigns of our political elites– You’re a Deplorable.
10. In summary: if you question the self-serving, self-congratulatory, hubris-soaked dominance of the neoliberal Elites, You’re a Deplorable.
11.  If you see one spirit manifest by three personalities makes God a scitzophrenic, you are deplorable.
12.  If you believe there is no hard Biblical evidence or any evidence that life survives death, you are deplorable.
13.  If you believe the innocent suffering from the sins of the guilty is inherently immoral, you are deplorable.
14.  If you believe many so called "Calvary Christians" are only now revealing their true depraved nature, you are deplorable.
15.  If you believe in the George Bush "crusade" against Islam is hypocritical and a betrayal of the teachings of Jesus, you are deplorable.

If you think being Caucasian is a requirement to qualify as a Deplorable, think again: anyone can be a Deplorable. If you’re a Hispanic-American or African-American who has seen your community gutted by the War on Drugs, and you’re against the American gulag, then you’re questioning the status quo: Bingo, you’re a Deplorable.

If you’re an Asian-American who is tired of accepting blatantly racist limits on Asian students in top-tier U.S. universities–the same sort of insidiously informal quotas that limited Jewish-American students in the early 20th century–you’re a Deplorable.

Regardless of your ethnicity, class or religion, if you perceive the institutions that govern American life as corrupted, riddled with favoritism and spin or as broken, you’re a Deplorable. If you question or resist the dominance of self-serving neoliberal elites, you’re a Deplorable.

This isn’t the elites’ definition, of course, because resistance to their dominance can’t be identified as the defining factor. If this truth were revealed, the various tribes of Deplorables might realize they have more in common than the corporate media will let on.

Though it was Hillary Clinton who made the Deplorables public, the elites of both parties share the same fear and loathing of anyone who questions or resists their control.

BONUS DEPLORABLE POINTS if you answer “yes”: do you think being corralled into a remote holding pen reserved for “expressing free speech” (i.e. resisting the elites) is a mockery of the Bill of Rights? Bingo, you’re a Deplorable.

Revised and Extended Remarks

Let's just address the hall for a moment in an unrevised manner.  All of Donald Trump's cabinet and other post picks are disasters.  You have people on the FCC now that want to get rid of net neutrality so that left wing news sources will be squelched.  This was part of their plan from the beginning.  You have Mr Amnesia himself, Texas governor Rick Perry who can't remember the Dept of Energy when it comes listing off the cabinet departments he would abolish.  (The other two were Commerce and Education)  Of course Perry is the governor of an oil state and we know this isn't a coincidence.  Trump is fulfilling Shawn Hannity's wet dream of an administration dominated by Christians, biggots, and energy fanatics.  He wants to go full throttle for the destruction of our national resources.  Of course what Shawn ignores (among so many things he ignores) is that Saudi Arabia and the Mideast are oil producing dynamos and that we can never control the price of oil when the ratio of production is as lopsided as it is, as anyone who has looked at a production chart realizes.  If they want to raise the price, they will.  If it's in their economic interest to crash the price of oil by flooding the market with their crude, they will.  We can't begin to compete with that.  All of this fantasy energy exploration and development will take time.  The right wing loves to exagurate just how much oil and energy potential the United States has.  As to West Virginia we heard on the news this morning how they turned from a consistent blue state to a consistent red state.  It's all because, if we are to believe these news program reports, every last person in West Virginia is in the coal mining business.  People forget that coal is simply becoming less popular now as other market forces come into play.  These jobs aren't coming back.  Then we hear from former Defense Secretary Gates about how President Obama has withdrawn from the world on a major scale and has 'no longer assumed leadership' as though the Constitution founders invisioned a world where the US would be the military leader of the whole thing, like the 'Empire' that Norman Goldman keeps talking about.  Clearly in too many respects the United States IS an empire, of the sort that was disparaged in our history books in the ninth grade.  We hear the Imperialism word.  We come then to Dr Ben Carson who is against Obama Care and doesn't feel as though he was worthy of being appointed to ANY cabinet department and now he leads Housing and Urban development.  Which brings us to all this talk about infrastructure.  Both Bernie Sanders and Trump wanted to work on Infrastructure building airports, roads and water works.  But only Sanders meant it.  Paul Ryan won't LET Donald Trump follow through with THESE plans of his.  He will be dressed down by Ryan and put in his place and will meekly make a statement that he and Paul Ryan are in full accord on this issue now that he has been pummeled into submission.  This will make Shawn Hannity very happy.  As I have repeatedly said- - Donald Trump has not made a move without having it in full accord with Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity.  We then come to his latest appointment and that is the Ambassador to Israel.  This guy is a right wing extremist of the sort the Christian Right has been drewling over for a long time.  Judy and others have often made remarks about how godly it is to be an unabashed and unqualified supporter of Israel as a means of securing Jehovah's blessing on their lives.  Perhaps the thing that stands out the most here is the notion of abandoning the admittedly fictional "two state solution".  The United States including even President W Bush has embraced this rather thread-bare "Two State solution".  This is the fiction that the occupation of Palestine is somehow a temporary measure- - just like measures in Nazi Germany or the Patriot Act were "temporary measures".  We are told that once things settle down militarily and peace is achieved we'll give the Palestinians their land back, if there is any of it left after all of the new building expansion and development by Israel.  The situation is very akin to the Indian Reservations in this country.  Nobody is calling them a foreign nation.  It's a way of enforcing some sort of racial apartite or segregation or "tagging and isolation of a people" and NOT letting them meld into the mainstream of the population with the full rights of the rest of us.  Jimmy Carter first coined the term "Apartite" to describe this racial situation between Israel and the Palestinians in one of his books.  Somewhere some how there are supposed to be "Emancipated Arabs" for lack of a better phrase, that somehow have full power.  But even here we have racist fear tacticts working just like in this country with the minorities and Blacks.  There is a fear of the "Block vote" of such minorities where if they ever found their oats they could secure democratic control of the country forever.  Such is the state of Israel and such is the state of our country today.  I'd like to once again warn that is you own common stocks you better sell them prior to January 20th because you the markets are making a run up in price in anticipation of this Trump pipe dream of infrastructure developement and "Jobs, jobs, jobs".  It ain't happening.  In virtually every government department Trump has made about the worst choice he could conceivably make.

In case you are wondering about below- - there was talk of using the single versions of "Get Back" and "Don't Let Me Down" with the rationalization that "We're going for hit singles here and not deep album tracks".   Actually we did switch the version of "Don't Let Me Down" we've had since 2013.   There are three tracks containing KMET bootleg songs, "Teddy Boy", "I Got a Feeling" and "Don't Let Me Down".  And of course "Get Back" was originally on this same KMET tape- in an unembelished form.
