Having to Live in Whitey's World

Racism is alive and well in the Arizona school system.  In Tuscon in particular and the whole state in general, there is a ban of any book that discusses any view of History other than the White European version.  Any reference to racial oppression of any group is strictly verboten.  You can’t even quote from the Shakespere work “The Tempest” to illustrate points on racial oppression.  Of course every other cultural group is just as entitled to have their view of world History aired as White people, but we know it won’t work that way.  Some statements that have been made lately are really strange.  Rick Santorum once said that it’s a good thing that Michelle Bachman will never become president because as a woman President, she’d be putting Children in danger everywhere.  Try to figure that one.  Also any work with the word “La Raza” in it are forbidden.  School children of Tuscon are bound by law only to hear the White European view of history on things like the oppression of the American Indian.  They can never be told of the Black inventers like George Washington carver’s research on the peanut and inventing peanut butter.  I believe it was a black man who invented the traffic light, and a lot of other inventions.  All those marble buildings to American greatness you see in Washington DC were built by Black Slaves.  There were the Buffalo Soldiers in the Civil War.  These same Buffalo Soldiers were around later in instrumental in oppressing another racial minority, the Indians.  I caught Chris Matthews closing remarks about Dr. Martin Luther King the other night.  He pointed out that WAIT is a four letter word.  I’ve thought us using that book title in reference to God and prayer.  Black people live in a world where yes means maybe and maybe means Hell No.  Believe me I am well fermiliar with these kinds of lines by others.  In another King speech where he came out against the Viet Nam war- - he pointed to the folly of saying “Silence is Golden”.  Sometimes to keep Silent on an issue is to partake in its evil.  The head coach of Penn State knows all about that.  It was some pro Israeli Jew who coined the slogan “If Not Now - - When?”  Of course Dr. King was sick of this enculturation of children of Black people that “They better know their place” and that when a new amusement park opens in town it isn’t for them.  For his little girl there was to be no fun in “Fun Town”.  Black people are plagued at night with imposed self doubts about themselves.  Of course even the Navaho was instrumental in winning W W II because of the Navaho code encryption against the Japanese, as one code they could never crack.   Few people know the full history of the civil rights movement and the visionary Thurgred Marshall in expanding the Brown vs the Board of Education ruling.  There was Rosa Parks and Vernon Johns and Martin Luther King and Malcolm X and so many pioneers who told it like it was.  Today would never be a Gandhi in India because the tea party crowd would demand that the US break off diplomatic relations with India as a subversive country.  Of course now Moslems are the new Niggers.  Rich Perry wants us to break off diplomatic relations with Turkey and kick them out of NATO and cut off all foreign aid to that country all because they have a Moslem government now and the press now has more restrictions.  Of course Rick Perry and Mitt Romney both espoused a “Kill them All” foreign policy.  Perry wants to go back to Iraq.  And Mitt Romney states that peace negotiation with the Talliban would be the worst thing imaginable because were that to be successful the war in Afghanistan might not go on another eight years as it would under a Perry or Romney administration.  Make no mistake about it.  What the tea party advocates is hatred for anybody who doesn’t look like or vote like them.  One thing that flashed into my mind lately was “Whatever happened to all the Black people in the South?”  To follow the media you’d think that every last Southerner was White.  Were I a Mormon I’d take no comfort at all that the first general acceptance of the church came under the tenure of a pre-fab jerk like Mitt Romney, who is a piss poor example of ANY Christian.

The debate last night itself was almost too depressing to even contemplate watching because you pretty much know what you’re in for.  One new feature introduced last night was the “Louis Monteith” or Screwy Louie trick.  This is to pose a question on an issue you really don’t discussed objectively and far less investigated.   There were racial topics introduced as Red Meat to this sick, partisan crowd- - such as Voter Registration for blacks, for one.  You know they’re all against that in the South.  But Santorum took it up.  Santorum also talked about Blacks getting longer prison sentences, and that took bravery to point out the inequality.  Mitt Romney and Santorum got into it on the subject of convicted Felons being able to vote.  Santorum wanted to let them vote is they had served their entire court imposed Sentence.  Mitt Romney didn’t believe they should ever be able to vote.  Mitt at every turn tried to position himself to the right of everybody.  But an area where Mitt fell flat on his ass was when Newt Gingrich questioned him about Bane Capital.  Also the failure to disclose his income tax forms came up and Mitt Romney acted as nervous as a cat when he said he’s thinking maybe about getting them out by April.  Mitt in general made the worst impression of the five of them that were up there on this Fox News debate.  I turned in just a little before it started and watched till a couple minutes to seven thirty when my computer crashed.  Firefox took the blame, but my computer was on the fritz anyhow.  Santorum was also to the left of Romney on the whole preventative detention issue.  Santorum thinks we should have kept the law the old way where if you were picked up and jailed, you had the right to talk to an attorney and have a writ of Habious Corpus drawn up with official charges.  Romney was in favor of the way they do it in dictatorships where citizens don’t have these rights.  Nobody in the group was in favor of the “Ninety-nine Weekers” and think that 99 weeks is far too long for unemployment compensation.  Everybody seems to be solidly against labor Unions.  Everybody seemed to be solidly against alternative energy development.  Everybody seemed to favor regulations of all kinds be done away with in a massive way.  There’s a few notes here I can’t decipher.  I have one where Ron Paul said “Not enough time” to Rick Santorum.  Randy Rhodes is to the right of Newt Gingrich saying kids do NOT have the right to earn their own spending money.  Randy wants to be in sole control over how much money her daughter has to spend.  Interesting.  There was a caller on a show today who said that by giving blacks help with anything we were “Enabling them”.  And the host was confused.  “Just what do you mean “enabling” - - you mean we are enabeling them to be Black?  Is being Black some kind of addiction

Dr :Levy came up with an interesting term yesterday afternoon.  He said "We all need to defermiliarize ourselves with things".  I pointed out that I do this with a lot of physics and math in that I like to tweak my audience to make them think in terms they aren't used to thinking in.  The idea is to get over certain cliches that we've heard to death.  I wish the people of Calvary Anaheim would de-fermiliarize themselves with their Pastor's oppinions of me.  And the Pastor himself got I suspect the majority of his oppinions about me from Pete Richards, who hasn't worked there in just over twenty years.  People talk about the gay population is a group of people about which there too many cliches.  But if what Randy Rhodes says is true and S C is really thirty percent Blacks, I'd like to see a few Blacks.  Sometimes "Defermiliarization" simply has to do with having the Lies of Indoctrination purged from your system.  Romney told so many lies last night starting with our Exports, which like I say, have been on the rise the past two years.  Yet it's tantamount to Holy Writ that "Obama hasn't added one job or submitted one jobs bill, and has done nothing to further US exports".   Now I hear the troubling news that last Sunday all the Sunday preachers told the people of their church whom to vote for on Saturday because "they all met and agreed that they had to rally around just one man" and the sad news is the man they have chosen, based on the evidence, is Mitt Romney.

.  I want to talk a little about Sixty Minutes on Sunday night.  This was one of the best three segments they have had in a long time.  They had a segment on a dot com corporation called “Groupon”, which means “group coupon”.  It’s like a Spam mail for hire thing where they offer you “deals” on venders looking to air their wares.  The only thing is that they rip off the seller royal charging half what they’re worth to begin with and then taking about fifty percent of that as their own profit.  They lost money.  Their CEO claims to have no economic sense but the day they went public on the Stock Exchange their net worth soared to over a billion dollars.  So he isn’t so dumb after all.  Each subscriber gets a daily “Span” that also includes whacky-off beat humor put together by their writers.  They claim to be an employee friendly corporation, with good team spirit.  Then they had a segment on the leader of Qatar, that nation in the mideast with no taxes and free health care, college education, and even burial expenses are provided for.  They have “liberal” architecture laws.  They have a liberal, conciliatory foreign policy with nurtured relations with their politically diverse neighbors.  They own the media outlet ‘Al Jezera”, who is responsible for fomenting “Arab Spring”.  Their benevolent dictator leader claims he is doing democracy a service, and I can’t fault him for that.  He may be “God’s tool” in the democratization process of the Mideast.  But I imagine the Tea Party doesn’t like him.  The country is rich in petroleum, naturally.  Then it was that autistic sevant, like Rain Man only a lot smarter.  Aside from an infallible memory, he is also good at information gathering for the sake of building to a higher conclusion.  He is good at theory construction and he is the guy who was ready to take on Einstein, whom we mentioned a few months ago.  Then we said he had Aspurgers but basically he seems to be a normal kid, if a little nerdy.  He hasn’t physically developed and looks young for his age, especially hanging around college kids.  He is scheduled to get his Masters at age fourteen and is working on his doctorate.  He began auditing courses at age eight, and kind of skipped high school together passing his GED with flying colors at age ten.  This included every math course High Schools offered.  They would say he could study and learn a complicated text book in a few hours.  But as a toddler he had serious communication problems with others, until he discovered math and numbers, which seemed to draw him out of himself.  I guess my closing question is that we know he knows everything that is already known.  The question is what will he now learn that the best scientific community does not know already?

The Headlong Rush Into The Past

You’ve heard of Shermon’s march to the sea in Georgia, which was a major disgrace for the South.  Now you have Mitt Romney’s march to the sea in South Carolina.  In one poll Romney is up to 39% with Paul in at 17% in second place 19 points behind.  There is another poll where Romney is at 28% and Gingrich is at 21%.  So I don’t know what the hell is going on there except telling the truth now will get you booed.  Newt Gingrich began attacking Romney before one crowd and got booed.  It’s a sick political climate where this sort of capitalist greed is hailed as quintessential Americanism.  Romney says “Corporations are people, my friend”.  Well the whole things Corporations are creations of the State.  The goal here was limited liability.  That is if you put up $500,000 to start a corporation, if you run up debts of several million or worse, your liability is limited to that first five hundred thousand.  Of course now Stephen Cobere (?) is running these jokester adds running for “The President of the United States of South Carolina”.  If corporations are people, then dismembering them and getting rid of their parts after pilfering what you need- - should be a crime.  If you take a chain saw to a corporation is it any different from taking a chain saw to a person?  They say corporations are “groups of people”.  But in a family all the people often get input to a decision.  One C E O just can’t decide to endorse one candidate irrespective of the opinion of its workers or even share holders.  The only time corporations had the status of people is that narrow window between 1886 and 1901 when Teddy Roosevelt became president.  Corporations, because they do have limited liability- - can get away with murder.  Thom Hartman’s father died of mezotheliomi from asbestos poisoning, and nobody went to jail.  Nobody got the corporate death penalty.  You virtually never see the government dissolving corporations.  Groups of people can’t conspire to conceal valuable and relevant information like the tobacco companies do.   Now John Huntsman has gotten out of the race and endorsed Romney.  Huntsman used to say that he was creating jobs while Romney destroyed jobs.  Now all of the anti Romney material has been removed from Huntsman’s web site.  As Dylan said long ago, “Money doesn’t talk; it swears”.  They say corporations have free speech, but vast amounts of campaign money can be waved around in S C to muzzle any candidate who dares attack Romney.  And just by the say, if you are going to go Tenth Amendment on me in defending corporations’ rights because they aren’t referred to in the Constitution, keep in mind that Montana high court ruling which overthrew the Citizens United decision because the judge said “In this state we still believe in the law”.  How does Mitt Romney feel about States Rights now?
Mitt Romney has five sons and apparently none of them went off to war.  And yet Mitt Romney and Rick Perry still believe we should be fighting in Iraq.  It seems that Mitt’s father, George Romney could not run for President because his father was born in Mexico.  Apparently George’s grandfather had twelve wives and went to Mexico to sacape the law back in Utah.  Then his son has six wives, and George was born of one of those wives, there in Mexico.  Yet not only conservatives but many liberals are also inherently leary of anything Mormon.  They think they are just too whacked out and downright Weird.  The best you can say is that Romney’s speeches are a little less “wooden” now.  They have turned into a pep rally for the most ultra right wing tea party anti Obama rhetoric.  In this Romney has truly outdone his opponents.  So if there is some sort of political demarcation line, it isn’t between Romney and the rest, but rather Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry - - and the rest of the pack that supports Romney’s actions with Bain capital.  This laze-fare capitalism is now all the rage in this campaign, and anyone who favors this A moral or downright immoral approach to conducting business is sure to pick up votes on Saturday.  They stated that 94% of the time the Candidate with the most money wins the race.  The one bright exception was here in California when Meg Whitman lost the race for governor despite her multi millions.  Of course President Obama will have to continue to compromise with the Republicans to stay ahead of the Republicans.  No doubt the payroll tax cut will be extended.  The price will be the construction of that Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to Texas.  Sure it’s dirty oil but all the regulations have been approved and Obama has virtually no choice but to go ahead with it even though technically he doesn’t have to make a decision till February 21st.  So who cares if our drinking water catches fire and we have earthquakes in Ohio due to fracking?  It’s just another “leap into the past” that political realities are forcing us to make.  We could have started on alternative energy 33 years ago when Jimmy Carter mentioned it in his speech.  If we had 20% of homes powered by solar panels now, the figure could well be one third in 2012 and energy costs would not be either an issue or a factor slowing economic growth.  The evidence for Global Warming increases every day.  We are going to have to make a decision to get off our oil addition some time.  We didn’t make it in 1979 but put it off over three decades.  Now we have to choice not to do it and saddle our children with an even bigger energy crisis tomorrow.  So we want to do that?

I was thinking when I first woke about how this premature coronation of Mitt Romney is just “wrong”.  The whole campaign in South Carolina is wrong and sick, but that’s the way they are down there.  We had oatmeal again for breakfast and scrambled eggs with toast and butter and jelly.  I was musing whether church pastors would attack Romney for his time at Bain capital but then I realized that in the Church of Meet the Press, all the commentators were heavily biased tword Romney.  Newt Gingrich gets an A in this interview performing about as perfectly as it was possible to perform given the hostile questioning from David Gregory.  Then Gregory attacks Harry Reid saying that everybody wants to see the other party a one term president.  No they don’t.  Not if it means sabotaging and obstructing legislation they know is needed for the welfare of the country and the economy.  Mitch Mc Connell is a case where hatred overflows its banks and spills over into the proper function of government.  Then they had two other guys on, and I’m not sure whether both were for Romney or not.  The people of South Carolina are so reactionary and stupid, with moral tunnel vision they can’t even see what is happening and by going for Romney and pressuring Newt not to speak the truth, they are only digging the Republican Party’s grave in the fall.  This time should be a cause of great joy for President Obama.

In the late game New England clobbered Denver 45 to 10 and that game ended up just about eight thirty.  Apparently these two teams met in a play-off game in Denver and that time Denver won.  Tom Brady did well.  I guess “Jesus” didn’t do so well in his prime time outing.  I watched the Mc Laughlin group.  Buchannon was the only one who made economic sense pointing out a liability Romney’s involvement with Bain capital till turn out to be.  The others didn’t want to hear it but supported Romney on the show.  In the NBC show there is an attorney who remarked “You know, to defend one fourteen year boy who is guilty of murder and lying, I have to tear down the reputation of another fourteen year old boy who is telling the truth”.  The show was going on at five after nine but I went to bed, which was perhaps a mistake, even though I slept well.

This is at ten after six.  The NY Giants beat the Green Bay Packers on their home field today 37 to 20.  The game was late in getting started and the half didn’t end till twelve after three, or about fifty minutes later than a normal game.  It wasn’t until after 2:15 that coffee was called.  While waiting in the courtyard Arleen came behind me in line and said that Rose had died.  I heard it from a couple of other people but still didn’t entirely believe it.  You know how roomers are around this place.  I got two cups of coffee from Laura.  The cover was still on the bird cage.  At that time the score was 20 to 10 and prior to that it had been 3 to 3 and 10 to 10.  The results of course surprised both me and Bill.  The second half began about 3:30 and subsequent to this there were three commercial breaks within a space of fifteen minutes.  That was too much for me.  I turned to KLOS and listened to about twenty minutes of virtually commercial free music.  Then I went to dinner.  We had a rather small portion of roast beef and gravy with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables.  We had lemon pudding for desert.  I waited for Laura for seconds.  However the rout she takes mine is the first and about only table to be routinely skipped over and then come back to.  And by the time that occurred she had just run out of the beef.  It was good beef but how do they run out with such small portions?  I put on coffee but by now three different TV stations were acting up.  First eleven, then four, and then seven.  Four was the least problematic.
The Golden Globes were on at five and that Latino guy with the English accent was on with his famed off color remarks.  ABC network news had more on that cruise ship that capsized off the shores of Italy.  They plan to bring up the Captain on charges because any number of rules and procedures were violated.  They had underwater shots.  I went out for a smoke and talked to Larry.   Talking with him is tiresome.  He’s a Johnny one note of his finances.  He “And”s you to death.  He goes AND - - AND and after the tenth or twelfth “AND” you wish he’d come up for air, expecially when he keeps calling your name because your mind is wandering.  A woman just died for heaven’s sake.  The news of Rose’s death was true.  I heard Phyllis telling Mike and then it was all over the dining room.  She had gone to the hospital two days ago and you’d think she’d get the best medical care.  Apparently she began shaking and had a heart attack, and they took her off somewhere else,  (to surgery?)  Larry said about one line about Rose saying she was a nice woman then he returned to his monolog on finances.  The worst part is you know half of it is bullshit.  Then I went downstairs to check on medication but nobody was either in the medicine room nor in the halls.  I checked the living room and it was dark with nobody waiting.  It appears the Mormon couple really has stopped coming.  Just weeks ago they were talking of expanding their involvement here by showing films and stuff.  Something obviously happened.  With Rose’s death that makes the third person to die from that group in the short time I’ve been with them.  And of course Loretta and Fred have done a disappearing act.  The last time Seid was here on Christmas night he talked about Fred and the evils of spreading roomers about people.  I sure don’t think you can count on Seid to tell you the truth after his record with Richard Powers.  I was all set for ice cream.  So basically five people from that group are either dead or “missing in action”.  If I were that wife in “The Wrong Man” I might think there was some kind of conspiracy.  KABC is coming in fine now.  I haven’t switched it back to NBC.  Not to be paranoid but Manfred is another who’s had health issues in his life.  We pray for his continued good health.   I guess Sixty Minutes will be featuring another of those genius kids.  We need a smart innovator now; that’s for sure.

Other Events and Developments

I guess with you know who the theme of the day could be "Suddenly - - Detente".  Relations have relaxed just a little between me and my right wing antagonists.  However don't assume this situation will last.  I would at this time like to encourage you readers to read old blogs.  I was just reading some of my own stuff from last fall.  I have had a pretty good track record as far as coming up with insightful thoughts.  There is one posting where I said I was going to review the eleven dimensions, and I believe I went on and listed fifteen.  I believe in stimulating people to think.  I’d like to clarify something on the posting “Different ways of perceiving things”.  It’s a very enigmatic post.  In that “Obama” stuff, the word “Obama” is substituted where one would normally use “dirt and grime”.  That’s the whole guimic, but it does throw you and takes a while to figure it out.  It just goes to show how changing one word can change the whole tone of a discourse.  There is also a little something about Bo and Hope’s marriage and that this long term relationship is still beset with problems.  In terms of those eleven dimensions,  I believe in a later posting I kind of re-stated all this stuff in a slightly modified, but clarified manner.  Basically I’m saying about the same thing.  We need to give this whole mad political scene a little bit of a break.  Its an area where I can't win because so few people, at least in my social sphere, agree with me on these issues, and the ones that do agree with me are too cowed to say it.  I thought I was going to be getting my new computer today but it turns out alas that won't be happening.  After I get my new computer I imagine there will be delay upon delay as you know who insists of installing this or that protective program.  Just one antivirus isn't good enough for her, by any means.  I am too often in a situation where I feel decisions are being made for me.  I'm like Israel in that Dylan song,  I can't win.  "I have to live by the rules that the world makes for me" and by "World" I mean one or two power hungry people.  I live in this world of false dichotomies.  I am lied to and bullshitted to death by the political right.  My only recourse is to wait for history to prove me right.  And when events do prove me right Rush Limbaugh gets on the air and says "what you see isn't really happening, but it's all just a gigantic conspiracy of the State Run Media".

I would like to take issue with Leo on F stops on cameras.  My understanding that F stops are percent of total lens appitures.  And also that the lower base appiture, this is your base point for all other F stops.  Dad worked with camers typically with 3.5 wide open appitures.  I take this to mean a 3.5 ratio between the focal length and the appiture.  My camera is 2.7 – which I get a rather wide angle when I’m not using any zoom.  Zoom will increase the de facto F stop rating in that going to zoom cuts down on the amount of light received.  What Leo was confused about was lens diameter.  So if you get a big, honking camera lens in a Portrait shot naturally you’re going to have a thin margin of focus due to the size of the lens.  F stops rating is determined by a ratio of the size of a lens diameter verses its focal length.  Given a constant diameter of lens, a higher F stop rating will mean a longer focal point.  Depth of focus is determined by how quickly the rating goes to “infinity” and this takes longer with a big diameter lens.  So a big lens with a low F stop ration will have a greater depth of focus than a Big lens with a high F stop rating since both focal length and size play into depth of focus.  (or “focus clarity margin”)  Those lenses with lower F stop base ratings are your wider angle shots, with a depth of focal length.  Any tiny lens will give you a greater depth of focus regardless of the F stop rating.  I don’t think I’m a complete idiot on this issue.
President Obama thinks he came up with an idea nobody ever thought of before, and that is to change tax laws to not make it advantageous for corporations to relocate off shore.  He’s been in office HOW long- - and he is Just Now thinking of this?  He also spoke of encouraging businessmen to be patriotic and guy American.  Obviously this will benefit the US economy.  The Republicans want him to go through with his promise and officially give the green light on the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada to Texas.  Apparently we will get at least some of this oil (even if most of it goes to China) and he will produce jobs, and it will also include petroleum from Montana and North Dakota.  The thing is that the US government has already officially approved this pipeline as of last August.  So really we are committed already.  The President has to make a decision by February 21st and trying to offer up some lame pussy footing excuse makes no sense at this late date.  I still think it’s a bad idea, but then our government has done a lot of bad ideas and this wouldn’t be a first.  Getting is poll numbers up is the most important thing and if it’s part of a deal to extend the Payroll tax cuts the economy will be helped and these rosy economic figures will continue on into the rest of this election year.
Leo Le Port went to the C E S or Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas.  They said that 150,000 pre screen geeks were in attendance to see 3,100 exhibits.  Leo says this is one year he didn’t get “Vegas throat”.  Leo reminds us that many of the things shown there are just “gee whiz” type exhibits and will never be on the market, just as with exotic car shows some things will never be on the market.  Hopefully most items will be available in the fall of this year.  Leo talked about LCD and Plasma TV’s but he forgot about D L P or digital light processing where a series of thousands of mirrors are employed.  Now the big thing this year is OLED, or organic light emitting diodes.  They say right now Sony only has an eleven inch screem, but the image is amazing in its vividness and brightness and clarity.  Of course if you’re into the 55 inch screen, you will opt for one of the standard means like Plasma, which has come way down in price.
Mohamed Ali is celebrating his seventieth birthday in Louisville with long time friends.  His wife says what he really wants is a pink Roles Royce.  Well, I’m sure he’ll get it if they make one.  I haven’t heard about how his Parkinson’s is doing lately.
TEVO will be playing tonight for Denver against New England.  Bill Press is suggesting Jesus will help New England.  The Federation has announced that it “favors” Denver but will not “support” them.  Both Denver and New England are “Pike” teams so we’ll let them fight it out.  The Colorado Pikes have a somewhat better relation with the Federation than do the New England Pikes.  One statement that Stu Baby said to me the other day is that “If Romney wins next Saturday we’ll have this race won for our side”.  This means that if the Republicans are locked into Romney they will be stuck with him and all his liabilities, securing the race for Obama, and the Democrats can coast the next few months without having to lift a finger.  The only possible threat would be is that if the republicans are undecided after Florida, for instance, then Governor Christy could be induced to enter the race as some kind of a last minute acceptable Savior for the party.
As far as these Purity products on KTLK you are likely to run into this word salad with all these terms alien to novices.  You have CO Q 10 for energy in the body, and krill oil that works well in conjunction with Salmon oil.  You have resveritrol in red wine, that’s good for cholesterol.  You have hileronic acid for arthritis, which is fading in popularity right now.  On their nine o clock program they discussed Aztezanten, which is the latest miracle product.  Even so they will make a promo and then run it for the next several months, not bothering to do an update sequel.  Aztezantan has amazing anti oxidant qualities being sixty times as effective as Vitamin C.  It is wonder working for reducing skin wrinkles fifty percent.  It gives lab mice 20% more energy.  If you take this stuff animals can be fed a high fat diet and won’t gain weight because all the fat gets burned as energy.  If you do a strenuous work out, your muscles won’t be sore the next day if you take this stuff.  Of course now either on this show or the one at 9:30 they were talking how T-cell proteins are the body’s response to inflammation of joints where it attacks its own tissues.  Of course Projesic was the product on the 9:30 program.  Another word you heard thrown around is Condroiten.   Of course carrotenoids are excellent anti oxidants.  Of course none of these products is cheap as I fround out from GNLD products.  But Purity will offer stuff to you for free except for a low shipping cost.  GNLD would never do that.  Their slogan is “You get what you pay for”.

Some Things Are a Big F---ing Deal!

It’s hard to say just what makes a trial jury render a corrupt verdict.  Clearly in the case of K C Anthony, justice was not served.  Here was a woman charged with murdering her two year old daughter, and the two year old girl’s body was found out in the woods.  The traditional story was that little Caley was accidently drowned and the mother panicked and her father then took it upon himself to cover up the crime and take the body out into the woods where the police found it.  As defenses go, that’s pretty pathetic.  But like any liar she can’t even keep to the same story but has to keep inventing new ones.  Now she is telling her attorney named Jose Baez (I guess that’s Joan Baez in male drag or something) – she’s telling him that her father molested her when she was between eight and twelve, first by just touching, but then by full sex.  But the attorney noted a certain cold, recitative nature of her words devoid of the expected emotion.  She was also devoid of emotion talking about her daughter’s death.  Often shrinks and attorneys would describe her as “cheerful and upbeat, but not manic, and seemingly without an emotional care in the world”.  Now she also adds on to this list that her father molested her daughter.  Now she says that her father presented her with her soaking drenched daughter and K C Anthony is troubled and the father says “Never mind, I’ll take care of it” and then disposes of the body.  It was noted that the ONLY time K C Anthony showed any emotion at all was – not at news of the death – but rather at the idea of her Dad making her tape the rap for the murder.  Given all this, I can’t conceive of any trial jury rendering a verdict of not guilty.  But now K C Anthony has the unmitigated gall to try and peddle her story to the media- as though anybody with any moral fiber at all would pay one red cent to hear the ramblings of this evil, pathological and lying sociopath.
There have been persistent roomers of the Talliban suing for peace with the Obama administration.  That would be a real feather in the President’s cap if he could pull that off.  Given the short shelf life of stories in the media, the President is going to need some fresh triumph to take to the people to convince them not to vote for the Republicans next November.  So it’s either to announce that the Talliban has laid down their arms, or that he had decided to Nuke Iran, and the latter could get rather messy.
I guess there is some trial at Camp Pendelton now where a Master Sergeant ordered his men to massacre 24 men, women and children in Iraq.  In other news, four GI’s are in trouble for urinating on the bodies of four dead Talliban members.  As that General Di says, we are supposed to respect the enemy in his capacity as a fellow combatant, laying his life on the line just as our side is.  And then we have the case of former Mississippi governor Haley Barber pardoning over two hundred convicts.  But the trouble is 21 of them were high risk murderers and the like.  Now in what I regard as an unprecedented move a Court Judge has stayed the order of those 21 pardons citing constitutional grounds, saying that the State was not given sufficient notice of these pardons to “review their cases”.  I don’t know how Mississippi law works.  But I have no idea why Governor Barber would pardon such dangerous convicts as he leaves office, except it seems to be a common practice for departing governors.  Presumably it’s because it’s a “custom” to ‘do a favor for convicts who are employed at the governor’s mansion” or something.  The whole arrangement sounds a little seedy to me.
In terms of my personal life, of that long list of problems and complaints, most of them are still in evidence, except the coffee one has been fixed.  Loretta is still not back from the hospital and it’s going on sixteen days.  Interestingly, 97% of Mormons regard themselves as Christian.  Bill Handel asks, “What to the other three percent regard themselves as - - Moslem?”  I don’t know.  By the way, Seid and Nicky are a married couple and not two men.  I just wanted to clear up that misapprehension.  You know, Dr. Phil talks about certain decisions we make when we are younger having adverse consequences later on.  There are “chapters” in my life I would like to think are over and done, but I know they really aren’t.  Some people will judge and wag fingers on the slightest of pretences.  You know some people say that Politics is like a soap opera.  There is such a jumbled mass of “stuff” happening that most of it is completely irrelivent in the long run and will be forgotten a year from now.  Well I beg to differ with people like Thom Hartman who says that this whole Romney and Bain capital thing won’t amount to a hill of beams come November.  Thom Hartman, like I say, has been pretty much a “No Show” on this whole Romney issue.  Sometimes it takes a certain ability to discern what really IS a “Big Fucking Deal”.  Sometimes teenagers can make decfisions now that cast a long shadow over their lives later on, like Will Horton is in the process of doing in at least a couple of areas of his life.  But before you start playing that old “Change My Way of Thinking” record, you better think twice about what you are giving up.  Some people, especially if they have any hopes of going into politics later had better think NOW about the decisions they make, because it may render them useless as a candidate later on.  Mitt Romney already had two strikes against him.  First of all he’s a Mormon.  The second thing is that he’s a flip-flopper.  Make no mistake about it;  Mitt Romney has done 180 degree turn-arounds on a whole host of issues, and Randy Rhodes was playing old tapes of his speeches like in 1994 running against Ted Kennedy.  Usually when I see or hear old speeches of mine I’m impressed at how prophetic I was that long ago.  Unfortunately not everybody has my stellar record.   I honestly don’t think Hartman has given this whole matter sufficient thought at all or he would have come to a vastly different conclusion, as I have.  To put it bluntly,  this whole thing with Bain Capital is about the WORST thing that could Happen in a political primary by one party.  It’s on a magnitude, for instance,  of the Democrats being split over the Viet Nam War in 1968 or the Republicans being split on the Civil Rights bill in 1964.  On this issue of Bain Capital you see the Republican Party split right down the middle.  You have Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin and Rick Perry on one side, and people like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Rick Santorum on the other.  Also a key factor in this whole thing is FOX news and “Big Money”.  Because whatever Big Money decides, is who is going to get elected and FOX news and Rush Limbaugh will pitch any line Big Money tells them to.  Now Rush Limbaugh has been ordered not to use the word “Capitalist” because it doesn’t play well in these troubled times.  Rather he and FOX news are to use the words “Economic Freedom”.  Just to be clear about it - - Rush Limbaugh is not as biased as Sean Hannity and today has shown some inclination to present both sides of the issue.  Newt has not handeled this issue well at all.  One minute he’s releasing that 30 minute film on Romney.  Then after talking to Sean Hannity he says “Maybe I crossed the line” and later on that evening he tells another reporter “I never said that I crossed the line”.  Newt has been entirely too much of a pussy footer on this whole issue.  Newt wants to make clear that “I’m not attacking Capitalism per se, but I’m merely questioning the decisions made by one man, Mitt Romney, and whether such decisions of a man running for President or wise”.  I never thought anything else.  Sarah Palin adds that we need to see the balance sheets and tax forms of Bain Capital to get the full story and then make a decision, and hopefully these will be forthcoming.  Clearly if Newt plays his cards right it would score first place in the South Carolina primary and it’s a victory he very badly needs, and if he doesn’t get it now, he may never get it.  The question is whether Newt has been too badly bloodied by Romney in Iowa to still be a viable enough candidate.  Rick Perry is only pulling five percent in South Carolina, which surprised me.  I thought he’d be closer to twenty.  Mitt gave up half his big lead in New Hampshire and now had fallen fifteen points, so I hear, in South Carolina from 37% to 23%.  This is not a small change – in such a short period of time.  Whether it’s too early to say “Mitt is going down in flames” I don’t know.  All I know is if the Republicans don’t get their act together and soon, they will be in deep doo-doo come Convention time, regardless of how well the President does running the country at large.  Four months ago I was ready to vote for Ralph Nader in November or something in disgust for the whole process.  I think some people may vote for Ralph Nader or Tom Hayden or whoever- - if either it looks hopeless and the President cannot win, or else- - the President is so far out in front of the Republican candidate that a few votes don’t matter and that there is an expendable margin to play with.  Everybody always wants to appear timely in their writing and in these trying times that is hard.  Still I plan to look back in November to see how relevant I was now.

Sean Hannity Defends Romney's Corporate Treachery

One wonders why even depress yourself to follow all this day to day political garbage.  Words like "disgusting" and "sickening" tire in their usage after a while to describe these people.  One is tempted to borrow from song lyrics and use words like "perverted" "inverted" and "diverted".  These Republicans have their heads screwed up so bad - - even now they come up with some new low in behavior you never thought they were capable of.  When are the Republicans ever going to find a suitable candidate?  I guess the expression is true that if you lie down with dogs you wake up with fleas.  Just when you think they can’t do anything sleazier they do something to surprise you.  Last night already seems like ancient history.  A couple of weeks ago Newt Gingrich was shot down in flames by Romney.  Now Romney is being shot down in flames by Gingrich and Perry. Perry is telling the people of South Carolina that Mitt Romney may be the one who took your job.  At least people are beginning to understand what Romney did, and he really did do it.  They are now seeing the same pattern that they saw with the Federal Reserve and the Wall Street crooks in the closing months of the Bush Administration.  It was the rich people who were bailed out leaving the rest of us to pay the debt.  And even here though there is systematic “blame shifting”.  They – these good Christians – are saying it’s the Occupy Wall Street movement who are “thieves” because they “envy the rich”, which of course is a Sin.  Make no mistake about it, defending people like Romney is new apparently a part of Christian practice, and if you DON'T do it, you are looked on with suspicion.  (Slelah)  The Wall Street crooks are never mentioned by people like Romney though.  Now a new word is becoming common place.  As Rick Perry says “I know the difference between Venture Capitalism and Vulture Capitalism”.  You would think that a fellow Gingrich fan like Sean Hannidy would support Newt Gngrich against Rolmney.  But just like Judy a few weeks ago when I praised Gingrich for attacking Romney on the buy-out stuff,  Sean Hannity leaped to Romney’s defense!  I wondered why.  Two things occurred to me.  Newt doesn’t really “mean it” when he thinks what Romney did was wrong.  He’s just after their votes next Saturday.  The other thing was that Sean Hannity - - as loyal to Gingrich as he is- - is MORE loyal to this “fellowship of being a crook”.  He reacts to the news of Romney’s deeds as though he had done some heroic act that would somehow make up for all his liberal short comings.  So he got Gingrich on his show.  And guess what Gingrich did?  He said he wasn’t going to continue to attack Romney.  Sean Hannity shamed Newt into backing off of Romney.  Then they fielded a call, which must have been planned, and the caller said “You know we Republicans aren’t going to listen to all this left wing rhetoric about Romney.  We aren’t fooled.  We know when someone is sounding like an Obama democrat”.  And so they will not call Romney a thief and an exploiter of the innocent and unemployed because it sounds “too much like Obama socialist rhetoric”.  So that’s how it is.  You know Rick Perry was on Sean Hannity’s show last night.  It was as though Rick Perry were on trial for defending the common worker in fear of losing his job, or feeling sympathy for someone after he loses his job.  I told you Rick Perry was not as bad as the other three- - Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum, because I felt “his heart was in the right place”.  So I’ll repeat that if I were in S C and a conservative, my vote on Saturday would be for Texas Governor Rick Perry.  I’m rooting for him to win.
Some of you brighter bulbs on the chandelier have questions to ask of me.  You will ask “You are acting like this bad news on Romney is a surprise to you.  I thought people like you, who talk to dead rock stars, knew everything”.  I can explain that.  Today Stewart Sutcliffe did a “mia copa” with me.  He admits that he deliberately withheld all he knew about Romney from me.  He wanted me to continue to support and defend Mitt in his attacks and take-down of Newt Gingrich, and I do.  I was also a little ticked off at Bones for not informing me that you-know=who was a homosexual.  There are times in the past I could have really exploited that knowledge.  But Bones said “it’s the God’s truth.  I had no idea.  I never investigated him because I never thought that he was important.  I’m just as shocked as you now.  I didn’t know’.

An Iranian scientist working for a key nuclear site was assassinated in Tehran with a magnetic bomb attached to his car, in what the government said was a plot by the U.S. and Israel at a time of growing strains over Iran's nuclear program.  A Bomb placed in a car has killed an Iranian nuclear scientist in an attack Tehran's deputy governor blamed on Israel. (Video: Reuters/Photo: AP)  The U.S. and Britain both condemned the death of 32-year-old chemical engineer Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan and denied any role in what has been a series of assassinations of nuclear scientists in Iran.  A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declined to comment on Iran's accusation on Wednesday. Many intelligence officials and diplomats in Washington say they believe Israel has played a central role in a series of attacks on Iranians scientists.   Mr. Roshan was the fourth Iranian nuclear scientist killed in two years, a period in which the West has intensified covert actions against Tehran's nuclear program, according to U.S. officials. Incidents including computer viruses and explosions have afflicted Iran's nuclear program and security infrastructure.  "The United States played no role whatsoever in the killing of this scientist," Pentagon spokesman George Little said. "We have been very clear that we seek to lower the temperature on tensions with Iran, and we think that things have calmed down a bit in recent days."  Tensions have escalated this month after the U.S. and European Union moved to impose tougher sanctions on Iran, including a proposed EU embargo on oil imports and a U.S. ban on working with Iran's central bank, the backbone of its economy.  Iran is doing its part to fuel the fire. On Monday, an Iranian court handed a death sentence to a 28-year-old Iranian-American ex-Marine, Amir Hekmati, after convicting him of spying for the Central Intelligence Agency. Iranian officials have threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil route, prompting U.S. assertions that it wouldn't let that happen.  Iranian officials blamed the U.S. and Israel for the killing of Mr. Roshan and said it was a plot to create unrest before a parliamentary election in March and because the West had reached a dead end in nuclear negotiations with Iran.   Most people would argue that Iran’s government is Extremist.  But nearly as extreme are Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.  Rush Limbaugh has argued that there are no books called “Famous Moderates in History”.  Shouldn’t we rather turn this around?  How many books are there called “Famous Extremists in History?” of people you’d want to admire.  Well, let’s go down a list of extremists now.  Aaron Burr,  John Calhoun,  John Wilkes Booth,  Eugene Debbs,  Margaret Sanger, Henry Wallace,  Algier Hiss,  Joseph Mc Carthy,  Robert Welsh,  Lester Maddox,  John Schmitz,  Phyllis Schlaffley,  Lyndon La Ruch,  Rev Moon,  Jim Jones,  Sarah Palin,  Hermon Cain.  How are we doing.  Do you see anybody here you want to pattern your life after?   People Rush calls “Moderate” we all call Rational.

This is Wednesday afternoon January 11, 2012.  You know there are a fantastic numbers of ways to make money once you already have money that aren’t available to you otherwise.  For one you can avail yourself of these fractions of a second computer trades investing millions of dollars with each transaction and even if you only make a fraction of a percentage on each transaction, you can still clean up because you’re able to make so many of them.  The Clintons in 1980 were apparently availed of a fantastically large expense account for investing in the commodities exchange and made a thousand percent on their investment in a very short period of time.  If you are at the Casino you can keep doubling down on a bet and with an endless amount of money you are vituaally guaranteed to win, unless they suspend the laws of mathematical odds.  The normal person wouldn’t be able to do that, to keep doubling down.  He wouldn’t be able to keep it up long enough to insure that he’d win, or he wouldn’t want to if he was spending his last penny.  With Mitt Romney it’s even difficult to understand how legalized larceny of all, these corporations he raided and evicerated and left as impoverished, empty shells.  Apparently you have so much so much money you can initiate a hostile buy out by buying up all of the stock, or a controlling interest.  You can throw out the CEO and the man who build the company with his toil and sweat and throw him out in the street so that he has no say.  You can then somehow throw the company into deep debt all while charging a management fee.  It’s basically an economic “chop shop” where you buy up cars dirt cheap and sell the parts at a profit.  But somehow YOU get all of the money and the Company gets all the debt.  I’m not really sure how that works.   It would seem its analogus to Ted Bundy accepting Christ or something.  He can say “I didn’t commit those murders, my Old nature did it’ or something.  Suddenly now the corporation is NOT a person, or at least he isn’t you.  What is the strangest is how a publicly held company can be “privatized” the way they want to “privatize” government services.  I can’t keep away from the religious analogy like your joining some Cult, or more like – a Cult joining you since it’s Their decision to have you Much more than Your decision to have them.  Should you fall on hard times in the future except Complete apathy from them, akin that letter Chuck Swenoll read on his radio program about.  That is, a story about people who “do everything they are supposed to” and still managed to get the shaft.  Of course the ultimate corporate buy out is Christianity’s hostile acquisition of Judaism.  Jesus claimed to be the Messiah but he wasn’t, and by his own words.  Do you know how I know that?  The Jews wanted a “Deliverer of Israel” who was “a man”.  Any Jew will tell you the Messiah would be just a man.  Jesus claimed to be God.  Therefore if he claimed also to be the Messiah, he was a false Messiah, who neither delivered Israel, nor for that matter “forgave their sins” but said various people would be thrown down to Hell and were worse than Sodom and Gamorah.  The Romans money and power certainly overwhelmed the Jewish nation.  They were even able to “buy out their God’ and then proceeded to “put him under new management” and were able, seemingly, to lock the Jewish people out of access to their own God.  The book of Hebrews says this.  This is the book that strips the power from Jewish clergy to perform their ritual functions.  (Selah)

Do you remember what I told you people in yesterday's posting at the top of the other blog?  I said that Gingrich, Santorum and Perry's votes combined wouldn't ammount to 25%   If you doubt me here, there are the results right above.  Those three candidates together add up to 21%  Of course you hear this bull crap on Fox news saying for Romney to have scored a real victory he needed to get fifty percent of the vote.  Let's get real for a moment.  Is it realistic for one candidate to get fifty percent of the vote in a field of six candidates still running?  No.  They say that Romney's eleven percent margin over second is a weak showing.  Let's look again.  Ron Paul came in second and he is a civil libertarian and probably has a lot of the Independant vote going for him wanting to make a "statement" against the Obama administration.  So then can you look at third place to derive a margin over his "conservative opponents".  No.  John Huntsman is to the LEFT of Mitt Romney politically.  Huntsman at 17% may be the best he can hope to do in any Primary and that number has to be a disappointment for him  New Hampshire was his best shot and now it's time to pack it in.  No.  You have to go all the way down to Santorum and Gingrich at just over ten percent to derive an actual margin of victory over his conservative rivals.  And that figure is indeed the predicted 25% that they predicted he would win over his conservative rivals by.  So FOX news had to admit that all the attack adds and adverse publicity did not hurt Romney - - - at least in these numbers.

Mitt Romney sure didn't want to announce victory to his fans.  He was on the air making a speech.  But that speech really should have been playing to a laugh track, and as an Obama supporter that's just how they should air it in adds.  Because it's plain for all to see - - the record is laid bare before the Media at last and even people in South Carolina can give this whole "joblessness is good" thing a fair rolling over in their minds. Joblessness is JUST what you'd have if Rick Perry got elected and had his way with the Federal Reserve.  Keep in mind there are right wing Christians with no regard for their country out there who are secretly wishing for an economic crash next year, for their own sado-masochistic reasons.  I expect Rick Perry to have an amazing resurgence in South Carolina thanks to skillful use of anti Romney advertizing and exploitative speeches.  But of course such talk will backfire with the voters come November when SC and everybody else realizes that to Prevent a massive re emergence of a Recession and unemployment deboccle by uncaring corporatists, that they need to reelect President Obama.

But aside from all this apparently good news for Democrats is tempered by a CBS poll measuring up President Obama against each Republican front runner.  Here there is not a dime's worth of difference between the results now and in September, when the President was in deep doo-doo and people like me despired of his ever being reelected.  Then, as now there were some Republican candidates who were just ahead of him in a match and some which were just behind him.  This time Romney leads the President 47% to 45%.  So we are led to believe that the American people at large would cast a higher percentage for Romney than he got from his own party.  Ron Paul noses the President out by a percentage point.  Just below the President in vote match ups are Santorum and Gingrich, in that order.  So for those friends of mine on the right, their plum candidate would be America's fourth choice to run against the President.  And personally I think "fourth place" is a post we should think about eliminating from the race pretty soon.  I do not know what STILL plagues the President and accounts for his weak numbers in this CBS poll.  I assume it's the trouble we are having with Iran.  Perhaps people are concerned that Iran and Meliki of Iraq will form an alliance and somehow the United States will suffer from that.  If so it is a grave of our own making.  But try this one on for size.  Conservatives place Ronald Reagan on a pedistal as a moral icon.  And yet it was President Reagan who sold weapons to Iran, our enemy, to fight against Iraq, who at that time we were calling our friend.  And even with our help Iran STILL lost that war.  I hardly see how that makes Ronald Reagan a winner.  What was Ronnie boy thinking?  How can Born Again Christians defend supporting Iran like that?  Technically wouldn't that mean that our own President was comitting Treason?  Look it up!  Frankly if I were President Obama I'd make amends for all this softness on Iran in the past and be polishing up those Nuclear warheads because we want them to look good when they are hurling through space headed to Iranian nuclear plants.

Some people have asked me why I don't ask all these dead people I talk to more direct questions than I do.  Well - - basically I'm too easily intimidated bu authority.  I don't want to risk a relationship by challenging it, unless I'm pretty sure I want to get rid of it anyhow, or don't care if I do.  I tend to opperate this way in the material world with people.  People get paranoid when asked questions and if you ask a question they don't want to answer it creates strain on the relationship.  That's not to say there aren't times I don't ask Mal or Stu a question, but it isn't the usual modas opperandi.  I try usually to glean answers from things they say and hints they drop due to the way they word things.  The way I figure it, I'm still a major leg up on people with no contact with the Other Side at all.  And I question a lot of stuff Sylvia Brown says.  Sometimes I actually agree with her "impressions" myself.  But often I feel she is "all wrong" in reading a certain situation.

The 12 or 13 Golden Rules of Logical Argument

One advantage computers have above humans is that they are objective.  They aren't biased by asshole preconceptions of "engrams" that cloud the human mind.  But for instance, computers don't understand certain algebra terms and expressions and symbols.  Neither do I.  Computers don't "know" calculus per se.  That gives me something in common with computers I lack with higher mathmeticians.  Terms need to be "parsed" or broken down in terms that the computer can understand.  This is my goal in this piece for readers of it. Before we get to the Meat of our main topic, let's enjoy these amusing little sidelights first.

People say that Rick Santorum has become the BUTT of many jokes because of his stances on sexual morality. One might even say that Santorum's responses have been a little ANAL.  Of course it is presumed that Santorum experianced PLEASURE from getting the BUMP in the polls a couple weeks ago.

Oprah Winfrey said that it might be a good mental exercise to pretend that they have some British house guest who is prim and proper and all.  If they do they might choose to carry on more Civil Arguments with each other when they have them.

Rick Perry said that the only reason why Mitt Romney would be worried about Pink Slips was whether he had enough of them to fire all the people he needed to that day.  It is the source of pleasure and amusement with me that now the absence of Jobs and unemployed people who got Fired has now been made the topic of discussion by Rick Perry in South Carolina.

Will Horton on DL is learning a lesson he should have learned long ago in trying to take on E J Di Mira himself.  He failed to heed the four word Rush Limbaugh addage, ""Don't Poke The Bear".

We all know that Alpha Centauri is a military outpost of the Federation.  We can infer from this that the Federation is safe from Iranian attack.  Because Rick Perry said that the Iranian Army would swoop down on Iraq "with the speed of light".  At that rate it would take 4.3 years for the Iranians to get to Alpha Centauri.

They say you know a Politician is way up in the polls with a virtual lock on the election, when the only thing that could possibly undo him would be finding either a Dead Woman or a love missing Boy in his apartment.

Apparently Governor Christie made some sexual proposition tword some woman.  But the comentator then added that "Obviously it would be an Exploritory mission".  Let me parse that word Exploritory for you.  That means that you're not sure what you'll find beneathe the brush, and it may turn out that there is nothing there at all.

THE THIRTEEN GOLDEN RULES OF LOGICAL ARGUMENT

A PRIORI ASSUMPTIONS   All argument is based on both sides making certain assumptions, or in leagel terms allowing certain facts to be Stipulated as true.  For instance even the computer has to Assume certain things are true before you program it.  When it sees the binary formation 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 1 for instance the computer need to be informed that this configure is the letter "A" and not the number 65.  Now I might ask for purposes of Argument of you to assume that the Bible is true and that it is the "word of God".  Then I would be free to quote from it with certain statements like "The Devil is a liar from the beginning" and "the Devil is a deceiver" and make the inference that BECAUSE the devil is a Liar, therefore he deceives in order to sell his Lies.  We may read "God is not the author of Confusion".  Therefore we can infer that anyone who prides himself on giving a Confusing sermon to his congregation - - is not doing the work of God.  We in a letter of Paul, for instance warmed about "The uncertain trumpeter".

SYLLIGISMS    These are you classic If and Then statements such as "If it is Raining- - the Sidewalk will be Wet".  The Inverse of a statement need not always be true, and the Converse of a statement need not always be true, but the contrapositive of a statement is always true.  Since the Inverse of a statement is always the contrapositive of it's Converse, we can infer that if the Inverse is true, it follows that the Converse is true.

CIRCULAR LOGIC  Avoid this at all costs.  You can't refer to your own argument as support for your argument.  In computer programming and Excel you want to avoid circular logic.  Circular is not reitteration.  Rather- Circular logic is the embodiment of an argument in total.  In programming you run the danger of over-writing values of your own Variables.

THE INCLUSIVE FALLACY   It is argued that "all dogs have four legs" and then "this chair has four legs" - therefore "This chair is a dog".  No the correct argument is "all dogs have four legs".  "This over here is a dog. Therefore it has four legs".  So many people of the cloth as well as politicians make this obvious inclusion fallacy.

THE 'JUST RHETORIC' NON EXCUSE  Pastor Bill Halliday has accused me of flippency and asking rhetorical questions where I did not want an answer.  Like everything Pastor Bill says to me, these are lies.  I mean everything I say and if anything understate rather than overstate things.  I don't use flippency or rhetoric with Bill because, lets face it, humor doesn't work with a person devoid of any.  My philosophy is to never pose s Rhetorical question you don't want answer.  Usually the answer should be obvious.  Many people stupidly post questions they think are "rhetorical" I'd just LOVE to answer, and expose the speaker as both a fool and an Asshole in doing so.  Some "answers" can really be amusing when you think about it.

NO CROSSING LOGIC LINES  In electricity the danger of a "short" with "crossed wires" is apparent.  In programming it's the same thing.  Again there is the danger of overwriting variables.  In Sketch you have the issue of "continuity of space".  Don't make two arguments at the same time that are entirely on different planes because you'll just confuse the audience if they believe you are going two different directions at once.  In "short circuited" logic, you can be on one line- - and "short" on to the other and lose your train of thought.

FRAGMENTED LOGIC  This is the "What does that have to do with the price of tea and China?" question. There must be a causal Nexis between all parts of your argument.  You can't have a disconnected fragment off somewhere isolated because it's Variables will be rendered by the Program as of Zero value.  (if you're even that lucky)  Many conspiracy books from the Left and the Right make this logical error.  Computers don't make abstractions and "connect up the dots" by Assuming the existance of dots, which have not been established.

TRY TO ARGUE FROM THE LESSER TO THE GREATER  It's always best to Understate your argument rather than to Over-state it.  In this way you gain credibility.  Some arguments are so "over-stated" they need new numbers to quantify them.  We all know the expression of "going off on Tangents".  This uses the Geometric definition of the word assuming a ball on a string that then flies off into space in sort of a Newtonian gravity free world.  If one rather reverts to the trogonometric definition of the word- - one may deduce that as the quality of the Premise decreases, the error measured by Tangent- - increases.  At certain points the "value" of the premise actually goes Negative and hence it can be argued that the Error quantitative figure goes beyond Infinity itself.  For instance you argue that "Not everybody gets into heaven".  As a reason you are told "Well, you wouldn't just invite any stranger off the street to dinner, would you?"  This is trying to argue that somehow since God is like us only Magnified that if we are selfish bastards than God is a a Bigger selfish bastard.  But if it turns out that God id NOT a selfish bastard At All- - and God DOES in fact invite total strangers to dinner, then the error factor of this argument can be said to exceed Infinity.

ISOLATING VARIABLES  Countless people, more from the left than the right make this fallocy.  They do these surveys trying to prove that certain Drugs or Substances CAUSE things.  But they never isolate the causal element down to one thing- - but instead there is a whole HOST of factors that opperate TOGETHER and as such any ONE or more of them can in fact be the causal element and not the thing you are measuring or testing for.

ARGUMENT SOUNDNESS  Many arguments can be perfectly Logical but unsound, none the less.  For instance many Nazi and Eugenics arguments fall into this category.  Their arguments may have a sick Logic to them but their Premises are Unsound.  For instance these arguments if put into practice would neither be moral or ethical - - - nor functional, for that matter, ans as such should be discarded.

AD HOMINUM ATTACKS  We generally don't want to argue "To the man" by making some personal or below the belt attack.  Dennis Prager has often spoken of an individual needing not to live up to the moral values he is expousing as idea\s.  A common thing for people to do for instance may be that is someone argues the proposition "When it comes to sex with with a Woman- - size doesn't matter".  If you come back with "Well I've seen his thing in the shower and NO WONDER he's trying to justify his own inadequacy by arguing this line".  Hitting below the belt is not kosher.  However one exception to this is, for instance if a person makes Himself a premise of the argument.  For instance if he says "I am the living embodyment of Christian values.  Since I am superior to you, the only way you can possibly find Salvation from your pathetic state is to take on my OWN ethics and values, and mind state and intentions".  But suppose you later find out this individual has been in an ongoing homosexual relationship for ten years?  This pretty much puts the kabosh on any hope of his being a spokesman for what he has said.

MIND YOUR DEFINITIONS AND ANTECEDENTS  One should always clearly define his terms and also try and obey trhe "first usage" rule.  In legal documents terms are initially defined, like a computer variable, and then used throughout the article.  One should note always what the antecedent a word refers Back to, later on in the dissertation.

MOTIVES AND PURPOSE  One need not know the Motive behind an argument, only its Intent or goal.  What is, in other words, the Object of the argument?  Ones mind state is not relivent while making the argument.  In like manner police care much less about the psychological motives behind a Crime is- - but for them Intent is key- -even when it comes to questioning an suspect later.  Bad motives will not invalidate a good argument, and just as important - - Good motives will not validate a bad argument.

footnote:  It was in May of 1979 that the whole "Ship of Fools" story got perhaps its first airing with Pastor Bob, may even before snail mailings to the media.  This is the story about a protagonist named Karl Barf.  The general premise of the story is that religion is something that makes anybody want to vomit.  (pre Dead Kennedies)  Another lesson of the "ship of Fools" story is that some people or groups of people pretend to be above it all and not apart of the world, when by their mere separation from the world, show their lack of credibility, and also they themselves suffer to their own detriment.
