A Lesson from the Lowly Hot Dog

One of the best criteria our mothers caught us when we were kids was "one person divides the food item, the other chooses".  To the extent one half is preferable over the other one, to that very extent the thing was not divided evenly, and the divider pays for his mistake.  So now picture a 204 Black man with a history of violence facing off a seventeen year old 150 pound white teenager with no arrest record.  You know where I'm going with this.  Clearly if you swap the races of the two individuals, the black shooter in that case (and the right is accurate about this) the Black man would not have been charged by the Authorities- - - because he would already have been shot Dead by the cops, THAT"S why.  (Selah)  Suppose I obtained a gun when I was twelve and taken it to school and picked a fight with a bigger ninth grader and I now had new confidence with the gun - - and the minute I began losing the fight with the bigger ninth grader- - drew my gun and wasted him - - I've probably be bounced right in juvenile hall till I was eighteen.  Now that we've clarified That - - - Of course the Trayvon Martin case has major civil rights violations and the Justice Department should look into it.  But of course this President is so cowed by Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity that even that one statement he made sixteen months ago about "If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon" is considered prejudicial to the jury.  This is what Hannity and Limbaugh are saying today.  Meanwhile Zimmerman's attorney did nothing but prejudice the jury pool by going on all these media outlets.  Any California judge would have put a gag order on this case but they don't work that way in the South.  But since I had Sean Hannity on- - he reports of Zimmerman that the reason why Zimmerman got out of his car is that he's "Lost sight of Martin".  In other words, he was stalking him.  Certainly we know what Zimmerman was referring to when he said "These people always get away" or when he said "Fucking Koons".  For the first several days everybody thought it was Koons, but then they just stopped playing that recording.  Rush Limbaugh reports the reason why Zimmerman shot Martin was because he did it for the housing complex because according to Rush "Someone has to stand up and take action and do something about the crime problem, because all people see when they turn on their TV is eleven million illegals ready to flood the employment market and take away their jobs".  Rush was also about how NBC edited one brief portion of tape- - sixteen months ago.  In other words- - this thing NBC did was justification for why the jury voted Zimmerman not guilty.  Of course Zimmerman refers to himself as a White - - - Hispanic.  They gave George Zimmerman back his gun back and now he hopes to study law "So I can help other people like me".  So is the legal profession looking for more pathological liars these days?  Don't answer that.  We know beyond a shadow of a Doubt that Zimmerman was lying about the causes that prompted him to fire his gun.  We know there was no blood on the sidewalk.  There was none of Zimmerman's DNA under Trayvon's finger nails- - - and in like manner we know there was none of Trayvon's blood on Zimmerman after he'd just shot a man on top of him.  Thus this blood defied the laws of gravity.  People forget ALL of these facts and go on assuming these Lies of Zimmerman are factual.  Of course Zimmerman and Attorneys are great marketers of their man.  Now it's admitted that the Attorney had Zimmerman gain a lot of weight so he would be perceived as "fat and harmless" to the jury- - just a "lovable little fuzz ball" as Rush Limbaugh might say.   Of course whether Zimmerman will get his job back at Neighborhood Watch is problematical since he broke several of their rules.  A lot of the liberal punsters are correct when they say "The Verdict is in- - Trayvon Martin found Guilty".   Never in a murder case has their such a case of maligh the Victim.  You would think they could at least Fake a little respect for the Dead.  Of course they claimed they did not want a voice expect who could Prove that was Martin's voice on the 911 call.  They have had that wave technology for decades.  But that evidence is excluded on the grounds that "We don't want other people putting ideas in the juror's heads".  Meanwhile Zimmerman puts on ten witnesses one after the other that all say it was his voice on the 911 tape.  Some would say "Well it doesn't matter because of the Florida stand your ground law".  This is the old Nuremburg defense of "I was only following orders" but even Martin Luther King said some laws were so grevious they had to be violated.  (On the other hand Justin Martyr wrote the virtues of Civil Obediance, which kind of raises a question mark of why he was martyred if he taught Civil Obediance)   For now let's give the defense everything they want and claim the law is written is a good law.  One sees the obvious problem that if two people both with firearms meet in the street and both are in fear (however unfounded) that the other is about to kill them, then under Florida law they will both shoot and kill each other and both will be presumed justified under the law.  As you can see this is why California and other sensible states don't have such a law.  But let's say that all the defense has to do is make the claim "George Zimmerman was in mortal fear of his life".  So OK- - - is there any Sworn Testimony to that effect in the trial?  No.  If others report that Zimmerman told them that it is heresay and not admissable as "not the best evidence".  People also act as if that police tape were "Evidence".  That police tape isn't Squat!  The police tape is nothing- - and Never should have been entered into evidence.  If it's really true that under Florida law the facts and forensics of the case don't matter and the credibility of the witnesses doesn't matter and only what Zimmerman says was "going on in his mind" matters- - - then we Still have a problem.  Because Zimmerman never took the stand to testify in this case.  Therefore any prudent judge would throw out ALL spoken words by Zimmerman which weren't given under oath and were not "excited utterances" or what ever that "I've killed someone" exception is.

But in that case the Law itself most certainly is racist.  We spoke last time about "consistency".  But here this law is NOT applied consistently- - as referenced by that battered wife who fired a warning gun shot into the ceiling to ward off her threatening husband- - and now she's doing twenty years for the crime.  (of - - ?)  So the law itself aside from not making sense and being counterproductive (as in the gun slinger example above) the law is being applied Unfairly.  When the Death penalty is being applied unfairly the Court steps in.   Of course the Media Bias in this case is getting worse.  One time yesterday morning on KFI one host said "The media had it really wrong at the beginning of this case but got it right tword the end".   In the beginning I and everybody else thought this was a racist case.  But then as the details unfolded piece by piece we KNEW beyond all Doubt it was an incident of Racism from the initial way the cops first approached the crime scene and didn't test Zimmerman for drugs or run other routine examinations.  I heard some Black guy (?) on KNX (where I had turned by mistake) say that "All of these nationwide demonstrations are the result of outside agitators such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.  So now they are saying everybody Accepts this verdict and the Media is lying about That.  But just last week FOX was ginning up the whole idea of massive racial Rioting.  Of course the Right Wing is ever talking about how "massive rioting' is going to break out soon over one thing or another.  But all Sean Hannidy can say is "The president of the United States should have kept his mouth shut on this issue".  The question is "Will the Justice Department be so cowed by Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity they will decline to make this a Civil Rights violation case.  I wrote yesterday the following.  I said the President Obama if he really believes that Justice was Served- - should then go on to say that Trayvon Martin was some rat bastard who didn't deserve to live and got just what he deserved.  He might as well.  Because this President is such a whoos that he won't go on to say that justice was NOT served.  You can't have it both ways.  You can't at one time say "This death is a tragic one' and then with the other side of your mouth say "Those six White women made the right decision in their jury deliberation.  It's this hesitency on so many issues that screwed this President over in 2010 when liberals refused to go out to the polls and vote for Democrats.  This President is no Martin Luther King, because too much of the time he's just too - Chicken  - - to stand up and be counted, when it Counts, and fight to see the right thing pervail.
