A Big Bucket of "Non Stimulating" Crap

Well this morning I tuned in KFI to hear more of that nut who is on before six AM.  KFI is the one who coined the term of "more stimulating talk radio".  Let me tell you from the word Go, this morning this guy and his guest were literally a textbook case in Abnormal Psychology 101.  All of the symptums of Scitzophrenia were there as boxes to check off running down the list.  All of the mental aberrations were as check marks you’d check off for confirmation of Mental Illness these guys have.  First he was saying something about how 9 – 11 came about because there was too MUCH government.  I didn’t follow that.  Then there was talk about how corrupt the state of Illinois and the City of Chicago were and how people are leaving Illinois in droves just as they are fleeing California because the economic climate in these two states is so bad.  Then there was talk about Sol Allinsky and some term I’d never heard before about how Welfare was created back in the 1960 as a grand design to “collapse the government”.  This "grand long term conspiracy to collapse the economy" has been a long time anti Obama theme.  Anytime you hear the words “1986” or Sol Allinsky or Mayor Ron Immanuel- - you can rest pretty assured you are dealing in whacko land.  Clearly all of the references to Chicago and "government corruption" were side swipes at President Obama.  No calls were taken on this program the whole hour.  Of course he had to trash Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton saying they were not in the “Martin Luther King tradition of being content in the state you are in”.   In what MLK speech did he say that blacks should be “content”?  There was reference to the George Zimmerman case though neither speaker weighed in on which way it should have gone.  There was talk about how “ridicule” is one of those dangerous weapons that Sol Allinsky suggested we use against our adversaries.  I guess he never heard the Adam Ant song “Ridicule is nothing to be scared of”.  Here’s a little secret.  Mental patients get ridiculed when they are out in the general public.   But it gets to a broader attack.  It’s amazing how many times the terms “They” and “them” and “outside forces” were used in this dialog.   Did you know there was a massive “conspiracy” to “Turn Colorado blue” and get them voting Democratic?  There was talk about the Federal Reserve and how we would be wise to turn the National Security Administration against the Federal Reserve.  Of course Vernanke is supposedly doing a horrible job- - - that’s a peril to all Americans.  They made vague allusions to how horrible the US economy was now, and how “we” should go into Black communities and put up posters.  But this whole thing about the US welfare system being designed to “Collapse” the economy is so strange.  If nothing else this show was divorced from the reality of TODAY and current economic statistics.  Also the whole red hering about 1986 and amnesty for Latinos- - - as though the reality of today is identical to what it was then under Reagan.  Of course the dreaded line "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" was repeated as some sort of arch-evil phrase.  Nothing these people said was ever explained or elaborated on in the least.  It was like one big gigantic tea party laundry list.  They spoke of how horrible this immigration bill was and to call your congressman, and spoke of the “pervaisave victim mentality among minorities”.  It was proposed that perhaps the Federal Reserve was being manipulated “by some foreign power”.  And of course there was talk about guns and this Glen Beck fantasy about grabbing our guns and going off to fight the US military house to house “Like they did against the Soviets in Afghanistan”.  I find it amusing they would identify with the Talliban in Afghanistan after all this time.  But supposedly the Marines would get a burst of tea party patriotism and turn their guns on their own Government and “fight with the people”.  Of course they kicked Glen Beck off FOX because he was so strange but now he has a home on KFI.  Then there was talk about how these foreigners have no sense and how fabulously wealthy nations like Mexico and Africa are with all of their oil and mineral wealth.  It was almost akin to that KKK speech about “These Sambos in Africa were stupid they sat on the beach with diamonds literally squooshing in between their toes”.  There was a general disgust tword all minorities - - and continued reference to a “victim mentality” imposed by : “Them”.  And there was something about how “They” want to create a permanent underclass in the US.  Of course we’re supposed to write our Congressman and tell them how we don’t want the immigration bill passed.  There was talk about Vincinte Fox though he hasn’t been President of Mexico in months.  Anyhow I listened till six when the show ended.  And of course the whole program was replete with long commercial breaks.  I see much more clearly now than I did before exactly what this program is about.  I thought perhaps maybe they were interested in the rights and liberties of individual citizens but this isn’t really the thrust of the program.
