Rush
Limbaugh hates kids, and Mike Meloy and others were playing clips of Rush
mocking the children for saying “Please don’t let us die in a gun exchange” and
did other things to disparage the children, as Rush has always done. This dates back to that kid in 1989 who flew
a balloon for peace, and also this playing of bomb explosion sounds during “Bless
the Beasts and Children” and also the fact that none of Rush Limbaugh’s wives
has gotten pregnant from him. I think he
and number four are now officially separated.
Of course George Bush used to mock Carla Fe Tucker- - and her pleas not
to be executed for murder. He thought it
was amusing. People talk about how fascist
President Obama is for overriding congress- - and people like Oliver North talk
about the will of congress being ucerped by Presidential action. That’s really the pot calling the kettle
black there. George Bush issued over
three hundred executive orders but President Obama has issued 144 so far. Of course the NRA’s ad on the internet is
sick, because it politicizes President Obama’s two daughters. And Rush Limbaugh chimes in talking about “The
President was using the four children at the gathering yesterday as shields”. Of course people forget about George Bush and
the “Snow Flake Babies” of these Republican candidates who in their mailings- -
pass other men’s children off as their own to garner votes. These people on the right don’t have a shred
of moral credibility. And by the way
gun regulation does work because there was a dramatic fall-off in Austrailia of
the murder rate, after the government there instituted an aggressive buy-back
policy of weapons and huge numbers of them were turned on and gotten off the
streets. I don’t know where that “science’
institute comes off saying gun restriction has no impact on crime what-so-ever,
except dopes like me hear those bogus figures- - and like sheep, go and report
them.
People who take hostages to gain some favor from a government indeed have to be the worst cowards on the face of the earth. The Moslems or at least the Wah-habbiest and Al Qaeda and other radical groups like Hez Ballah and Hammas - - engage in this sort of behavior- and in this one sense alone are WORSE than anything the Christian church does. But Christians and Islamics alike screw up in saying- as Dr. Levy does that God is a "hide and seek God' and "nobody ever knows where some sudden human impulse to do something is "Of God" or of themselves. The trouble with this whole line of Theology is that nowhere in the Old Testament at least, can it be the least bit substantiated. Because if you read these scriptures Jehovah God makes it pretty darned obvious who HE is and that it is HE that is speaking and not an impostor. But there is a small chink in the armor when it comes to the New Testament in the line in Acts that goes "if this Church is of God - - then it will Last. But if it is NOT of God, then it will not last. This is an unsound premise to base an argument on. It could well be logically argued with Greek algorithms, that Since the Catholic Church has lasted then it must BE of God. And since the Catholic Church has also fomented violence, such as in the Spanish Inquisition and in Ireland, and all sorts of places, then logically since we already know God instituted the Catholic Church, then God himself must personally approve of the Violence practiced by the Church over the years. But even in the Islamic faith the vast majority of the people shun violence, and regard Islam as a religion of "Peace" and don't see why certain people in our Own government don't view it that way. (Selah) When you think about it, there is a majority in the NRA, to use a current example, who favor tougher gun legislation. But a minority in the NRA took over about forty years ago. For a hundred years before that the NRA was known as a group that instructed Civilians on the safe maintaining and opperation of firearms. I cite this example as a present illustration to show how a minority - as in the case of Islamic terrorists, can take over an organization.
There
is other news to report this day. There is
the whole bogus story about the superstar football player from Notre Dame who
invented this amazing romance with a pretty girl whose photo he published- -
and he said she died tragically the same day as his grandmother, and it turns
out he made the whole thing up. People
end up in the hospital from these “Energy drinks” and I’m not sure I’ve ever
had an official “energy drink”. But the
number in emergency wards was 10,000 in 2007 but in just five years the number
in 2012 doubled to 20,000. The
government wants to investigate. The new
Boeing 787’s have all been grounded on a nation wide basis. But there were only six of these craft in
this country used by United. Japan
already has grounded all their 787’s.
There is major concern about batterey fires and explosions. The San Diego Chargers will NOT be moving to
Los Angeles, we are told. Actually that
very report makes me think that the Chargers ARE moving to Los Angeles, if not
next year than soon - - ie after we build that now pipe dream of a downtown
stadium in “Farmers Field”. (which is a
name they invented out of nowhere) There
are also complaints about the Supulvida basis being cleared of brush and trees
because dope dealers were hanging out there, and now the area, now bulldozed,
looks aesthetically a lot less appealing, and some environment-alists are up in
arms. If Antonio Viragosa hadn’t been “termed
out” he would be running again. He’s a
popular Mayer, and he still had a lot of good years left.
Stephanie
Miller is having her “sexy liberal” tour in Washington CD this Saturday on the
nineteenth, which is the same day they are having the “Kingdom Day” parade this
year because the Inogural is on a Monday.
The last time the Inogural fell on a Monday was 1985 and that was an
overcast weekend, and it was so cold in Washington DC that day that President
Regan decided to hold the ceremonies indoors.
Today the seventeenth is also the nineteenth anniversary of the
Northridge earthquake in 1994. According
to Pastor Mark, God didn’t like Northridge as the Pornography capital of this
area and so “pounded on the ceiling with his fist” to tell them to knock it
off. Does that mean God resides in
Hell? Of course on this whole idea of “respecting
your decision” I suppose a hold up man could well say the same thing about his
victim. He could say, “Your money or
your life, and I’ll respect whichever decision you make”. Just like it never occurred to
representatives of God when it comes to “respecting a man’s choice to go to
Hell” that- - if you REALLY had respect for a person you wouldn’t limit him to
a choice like that. Of course as you know it’s been “travel down
previously trodden trails” week. In
Google documents - - when you do a “draw”, which is a separate screen – and you
“Save” the thing - - the drawing instantly appears in the middle of your
document, perhaps in a bad spot, if you left the curser at an inopportune
moment. I am hoping to snap photos off
the TV of the Presidential Inogural, but first I still need to change the
batteries. It was ABC game shows. But I decided to take that long awaited
journey to Excel - - and I did a new file called “Firearms”, which of course is
a rather large accounting thing for a gun shop, and it also has back-dated
projected sales from late 2011 at a fifteen percent annual rise, and I suspect
gun shops’ rates are actually much higher than that. Then it was “The Middle” and sometimes it’s a
good idea to give each kid some one on one time. Then it was “Neighbors” and earth colds. I had Mike Meloy but he wasn’t particularly
riveting and I didn’t have him on long at all.
I decided to test the cassette tape drive for the first time in ages,
and naturally it now longer works. The
sprockets of the tape reels themselves still readily rotate. My guess is that the spring action on the
spindles doesn’t work so the tape just piles up. I’ve had that tape drive for fourteen years
and I got it almost exactly that long ago on one sunny Sunday afternoon. And them it was “Criminal Minds” with a
psychopathic female, and then it was that news studio Crime Scene
Investigation. I was in bed by twenty
after ten, however, and slept generally well.
I didn’t buy any snacks last night- - because I know I have to slow down
my spending rates. But Andrew, the blood guy showed up at five minutes after four. He wanted Bill and not me but I got up to
take a whiz anyhow. But it was only a
few minutes after that after the guy was gone, there was this pounding on the
door. Mike Deletore still has the gall
to think he can wake me at an early hour and demand I give him coffee or
whatever, and probably not pay for. I
could never get back to sleep and got up at ten to five and showered. But once again the new curtain is so short
that water sprays on to the floor from underneath. There was a whole roll of toilet paper that
had just been opened that is pretty much ruined. I noticed a faded “202” on the curtain, and
it suddenly dawned on me that someone in rom 202 had complained to Nora about
their shower curtain, so she just swapped it out with mine. Bill Press and Stephanie Miller were both
talking about guns, which is the big issue this week everywhere.
