Generally, the following material was from my own private writings- - occasionally text-expanded or re-formatted a little when called for. I'm going to censor out one name Mal Evans doesn't want made public but actually I have slipped up a time or two. (And I won't tell you where) Mal Evans may want his name withheld for another reason if you're into our Federation writings, particularly from around June of 2005.
We had a spaghetti
sauce style meat balls with tube pasta, and Dora had seconds on the meatballs
and sauce. Again we had ice cream. Tonight it was raspberry. I made that final pot of coffee this evening
informing Bill he couldn’t have any. We
got egg sandwiched from Donnie, who made it upstairs. (?)
“The Last Resort” is coming on now.
I’m doing better on cigarettes tonight than last night. There was more post mortem on the Boy Scouts
on EWN tonight. I am the type who
doesn’t like secrets being kept anyhow.
In the case of Raphael keeping Nicole’s secret from his- - EX wife, this
is a gray area. I must emphasize it’s
his EX wife. He disdained her enough to
divorce her, so she can’t really lay claim to his loyalties. Maybe Samantha should ask herself honestly
why he would conceivably trust Carrie more than her. Think about it.
The SL Cardinals are
now close to being up three games to one over the SF Giants and are ahead in
tonight’s game four to one in SL. Later information says they won in game four and now have but one game to go to win the National League pennant. The
Tigers beat the Yankees four straight games.
It’s just as well I watched none of them because it would have been
depressing. I have never been a fan of
the Tigers. To tell you the truth, I was a little freaked out when I learned that the Tigers had taken four games straight from the NY Yankees. Interestingly enough - - - Mal Evans seems to have gone to an Andromadan to get support for the Cardinals against the Giants. Normally Andromeda rules the Giants but their power was "co opted" from them by the Sutterans. The same thing happened in October of 1987. I had the game on TV for
various segments. There was also ABC
network news, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune.
Here is a question about “GOD” I just thought of. We know that God is not “material” in that he
has no “substance” or “matter” as we think of it in this material
Universe. Most people agree on this
axiom. Therefore how can the Catholic
Church claim that “The Father’ is ONE “in substance” to the Son? To allege that God even is possessed of ANY
“substance” is to say that said substance has prior ontological existence, for
said substance to be used in the creation of God. Think about it. Theologians trap themselves. Here's a question for you. Does God have what we call a "function" or "purpose" for His own existance? Be careful how you answer this jaw breaker. Because both "function" and "reson det" as they say in French- - -imply the act or somehow "Will" of an Outside Force. In this case that would be a Force bigger than God. So God lacks, substance. Got lacks a teological reason for his existance. What else does God lack. He lacks Essence. Some may chafe at that one but think about it. Do you remember when we talked about how blueberries have an "essence" or "sense of blueberry-ness" we all perceive in common? But we humans don't "perceive" God. At best he hides from us and it worse isn't there to begin with. Finally the final attribute of Creation - - and that is Form. When I use the word "Form" just substitute "Blueprint". It can be a schematic or archetectual plan or a chemical or mathematical formula. It's the "Instructions" or "template" to use a more techy word, for "How do you want to bring said Creation about?" When you think about it - - most all of the things Theologians, particularly Calvinists - - say about God - - CAN be True. God is not localized. God has no shape. God can be all knowing. Everything in our destiny can be within God's power. God can be immutable or unchanging. But all this and fifty cents won't buy you a cup of coffee nowadays. What God isn't an Essential thing God is lacking for us humans is - - Relevence.
This is Friday October
19, 2012 approaching ten thirty. Moe
Kelly is doing “Who would you hire and who would you fire” day, and has been
the past hour and a half. Anne Romney
stood in for her husband yesterday on “The View” and refused to answer simple
questions. And Tag Romney, a son, said
he would punch out President Obama if it weren’t for the secret service
agents. There was one caller who didn’t
grasp the concept of the show and by his tone of voice you could tell right
away he had some chip on his shoulder.
He said “I voted for Obama four years ago but I don’t like the pettiness
of radio shows like yours and therefore I’m voting for Romney this time’ and
then went on to attack the President’s children. Coffee call came just before ten and after a
wait of some length I finally got two cups from Laura. I said Hi to the four birds, who were quiet
today. I just smoked my last cigarette
and made it almost to lunch. They just
announced going for the China buffet, although it would be a really early lunch
right now.
Last night it was “The
Last Resort” on ABC with more authority challenges. Then it was “Gray’s Anatomy” I watched till
nine thirty and the plot seemed directionless.
I slept fairly well and had some dream about a St. Bernard pup that
slept on my chest and I was thinking “When he gets bigger he’ll never be able
to do that”. It was almost six thirty
and starting to get light when I arose and began today without coffee. I had Stephanie Miller on. [name withheld] greeted me at the door and [name withheld] said for
us all to grab up apple juice and milk from the cart, and feel free to take
Rice Krispies from the cereal cart. That
speeds up the whole process and is something they should have been doing all
along. Coffee was reasonably generous
and we had scrambled eggs and toast with butter and jelly. In terms of news it’s been pretty quiet the
past three days since the debate with only occasional sniping back and forth
here and there. Most of people’s
attention will be on baseball these next fifteen days or so. It seems at the Al Smith dinner Mitt Romney
broke with protocol, doing his campaign speech- - at a place where candidates
are supposed to do self deprication.
Mitt Romney is a guy who doesn’t play by the rules of civility.
This piece of crap that
Christians love to dump on you is saying “Oh you can feel free to ask questions. Doubt is not a sin per se. But we want you to ask only OUR questions we
hand script for you- - even if the questions we suggest are crap and ones you
never care to ask yourself and probably don’t even care about”. I don’t like one’s motives being impugned by
the person being asked the question. And
it’s really dumb to say “I didn’t answer that obvious question you had, that’s
true. But you probably had corrupt
motives in asking it anyhow.” And when
Paul says “Pastor Halliday is refusing to answer your questions because he
knows that isn’t the real question”.
This is from a guy who (A) wasn’t there for any of the exchanges and (B)
claims to have never met Pastor Halliday and hasn’t a clue what he’s really like. But I’ll tell you this, and it goes back to
the Raphael thing. It’s OK to have a
“prior loyalty”, which is code for “Of course I reserve the right to tell you
boldface lies- - even if I protest to you ten times I’m telling the truth and
would never lie. Because I have an
OBLIGATIPN to lie to you because I’ve made a prior commitment”. Well in court cases and in the case of Grover
Norquist- legislation - - we have the “prior commitment” thing come up. It’s called “Conflict of Interest” and if you
FAIL to disclose that you HAVE a conflict of interest- - you are implicitly
lying to the Court or whoever else you are dealing with. Inherently fair people know intuitively this
is the case.
